We love soccer but — on behalf of ATCs, SIDs, strength coaches and other support staff everywhere — the Linacre Media Party does not approve this move‼️⚽️
DI Cabinet approves proposal that would move men's soccer to a two-semester playing season. Because it passed with less than 75% of the vote, the proposal will now go to a 30-day rescission period, during which eligible DI schools or conferences can submit a vote to defeat the new rule. If two-thirds of the eligible members do not vote to defeat it, it will subsequently take effect.
The Cabinet's vote is not final until its meeting concludes later today.
Just a few gear haul’s for the athletes on the Olympic side of UAB Athletics. Proud of the work that’s been done, especially with an arena renovation taking place and other challenges. #GoBlazers #WinAsOne

Leadership wasn't meant to be lived alone
For the 10th year, athletic leaders gathered to connect, worship, and encourage one another in Christ
If you joined us, what's one takeaway you'll carry into the year ahead?
A dawg and a guy totally deserving of this. Congrats @admisner16 proud of you!

Saw this and agree the NFL cheerleaders need the raises, I’m all for the right people getting their fair share. I think equipment managers and athletic trainers should be next for pay raises.
It’s an honor to serve amongst these great leaders with @AEMA_74 District 3. Grateful to have been chosen to serve, and I look forward to connecting and reconnecting with equipment managers throughout the district.

200 boxes have arrived for Men’s Basketball, Women’s Soccer, Men’s Soccer and Track/CC….this is where the fun begins. #CardboardSeason
It is a privilege to be nominated for this position within @AEMA_74 District 3 and to be going against a distinguished person in Thomas Coleman from AAMU. I urge District 3 to vote and let’s work to make it something great in the future no matter who fills the position.
