Estavao is gone, what a shame a manager who keeps picking the same crap like Fofana and Gusto but can’t give a talent like Estevao a shot. Alonso is a problem and I will say it again players are being picked from above because a so called switched on gaffer can’t be that naive
Alonso had no European football, had a load of money shot at the side and playing one game a week and we still couldn’t win a league cup tie against Liverpool! The weak mentality of some of these players kills me. This club is a million miles away from what the fans want
Lacey coming on for United, they may as well have brought on Cagney and Lacey on! They’d have been better
Class act, a leader we haven’t had for a long time. You can tell this lad leads on and off the field and the worries about who he is, and how old he is should be well gone. Grafter 👊🏻

"It's an absolute honour and privilege to be playing with some of these players and team." 💙

Minutes silence was immense for Brandon Grimes. Well done to the spectators and players of @WhickhamFC v @ThornabyFC_ class 👏🏼
Or maybe he’s just a fraud and we are blinded by him.
My honest take on Alonso’s first 7 games:
I think it’s very obvious it’s a player issue. Lack of awareness, grit and energy is costing us big time. Colwill, Hato, Gusto, no Caicedo, no Enzo replacement, it’s all hurt us and it’s very clear. But it doesn’t mean Alonso himself has been perfect, because he hasn’t been
We have nice patterns & principles at times, but we still have some stuff missing. Where’s our press? Where’s our counter press? We have no control over the ball, this is the complete opposite to his Leverkusen side. The best teams are the ones that suffocate you and hurt you with quick combinations, we have the combinations but going but where is the actual ball?
Also the lineups? The lack of subs? What’s going on there? Why doesn’t he like Quenda/Estevao? Why doesn’t he make subs quicker? There’s still a lot of question marks
Will Caicedo, Palestra & James (in his actual position) fix this? Who knows, but Alonso isn’t silly and I trust his plan. So far it’s only been good in spells, but I guess that’s normal in a rebuild
This Chelsea side are a bunch of absolute babies! So called top class players go missing. All of them feel sorry for themselves, I dont, they are gutless, every single one of them!
