Understand one of the main reasons #MUFC have decided to keep Michael Carrick is due to financial reasons. Sir Jim Ratcliffe made the final decision after talks involving Glazers, Berrada & Wilcox. Carrick could have #CFC, #Roma & #AVFC games. @UtdDistrict roundtable.io/sports/soccer/…
Unbelievable decision by the board… or, actually, not that unbelievable when you consider that they have absolutely no idea what they’re doing. They’ll wait until the next international break to inevitably sack him, only to appoint Eddie Howe anyway.
🚨 BREAKING: Michael Carrick set to be given time to turn things in around. Expected to be in charge for Chelsea.
Training is taking place as usual.
#MUFC now looking for a response at Stamford Bridge.
Bringing in Eddie Howe would basically rule out Lewis Hall in the summer.
Another reason why Nagelsmann should be the preferred choice.
Old Trafford sings "It’s Carrick, you know…" as he heads down the tunnel, followed by massive boos for the players.
Hopefully we can all agree that this has to be the last time we EVER appoint a former player as manager, just because they understand the "United DNA". We want world-class players on the pitch, so why should we settle for anything less on the touchline?
My flight was delayed so I missed the first hour of the game. Just seen the result… 😭
Thank you Jet2 🙏🏻
Not the result we were hoping for yesterday, but all in all, a fantastic trip to Naples!🇮🇹☀️
Now off to watch Como vs United… on my TV back in Manchester!😎✈️
Never thought me going to Italy to watch Napoli vs Bodø/Glimt in the Champions League would have so many people crying on Twitter!😂
Anyway, here are a few photos from today! Such an amazing city - definitely worth a visit!😍🇮🇹
Peace and love to everyone!❤️

Nikita Haikin, goalkeeper of Bodø/Glimt, criticized the antics of Viking players against Bayern:
"First of all, earning a point is impressive. They played against the best team in the world, in my opinion. But I think we have to remember that, first and foremost, we are athletes, right? And there are a lot of young people watching us, and there were many moments yesterday that, for me were unacceptable. We have to respect one another; we have to show respect. I don’t support that."
• Wouldn't you have done the same thing to get a result against Bayern?
Haikin: "No. For me, it’s unacceptable. So, yes, it finished 3-3, one point - congratulations to them. But it was one point, not a win. We have to remember that too"
