A few things… 1. I’m truly overwhelmed by the messages of support I’ve received in the past 24 hours. It means a ton. I can’t wait for what’s to come, beginning with Cal Football Postgame Live in September. 2. Greg F—— Papa. You are such a fighter. Thank you for believing in me as a co-host, but this is so much deeper than sports talk. I don’t know why we had to share our fate today, but keep going, mofo. 3. My coworkers. You know how I feel about you. Thank you for taking chances on me, letting me in on the highs and lows of your lives, and never failing to bring your top-tier sense of humor. 4. The listeners. I get it. A lot of you didn’t like change in 2024. And trust me, I had to grow up fast. But to those who took a chance on me and tuned into the show, you were a daily reminder of just why we do what we do. Last thing: don’t make too many assumptions.
