I went from a single alcoholic ready to give up on dating...
...to married with two kids. Here’s how:
My client used to have serendipitous moments all the time while he lived in Spain.
Moved back to the States and didn't have any for years.
Whenever you're travelling you're naturally open to meeting people, striking up conversations and finding new experiences. It just makes those serendipitous moments easier to create.
But we've been working on how he shows up socially.
And those serendipitous moments are coming again.
For example, he went to buy some cigars (Fuente Hemingways). Was about to head home when the guy asked him for a smoke. He nearly went back and smoked on his own, but pushed through. Had a great evening and made a new friend.
A cigar shop owner won't help you find a relationship. But these chance encounters are how relationships start.
Single guys blame their city, their social circle, their age. When the biggest variable is almost always them.
I studied how the CIA infiltrates terrorist networks at university. Then I used the same theory to help men find wives.
The CIA would always look for points of connection between separate terrorist cells. One person would hold the key to 4-5 separate cells.
In every community there's one person who connects 4-5 different social groups.
Can be the guy who runs the cigar lounge. The woman who organizes every church event. The friend who always has people at his house.
They're connectors.
Befriending this "connector" creates a butterfly effect of opportunities. Plus, they're all pre-vetted.
One guy I worked with last year did just this with a guy at swing dance. Ended up getting 3 dates with different women directly from this connection.
Befriending the right 3 people will do more for your dating life than 100 cold approaches.
Dating has always sucked.
My Grandad came home from being stationed in the Suez after WWII and told me:
“All the good women were taken.”
He met my Grandmother 2 years later.
Dating has never been fun. It's always felt impossible. Your dad felt it. Your grandad felt it. Every generation thinks they're the ones who got the short end.
Then they meet their wife. And forget.
The difference today is social media lets you watch strangers' worst dates in real time.
Turn that off and go meet women.
Because the right one isn't posting horror stories on Reddit. She's at church. She's at a farmer's market. She's dancing with her friends at a swing class.
Your grandad thought it was hopeless too.
He was wrong.

Worked with a guy who was on the spectrum. Terrible hair cut, classic nerd glasses, millennial beard.
First date he got the girl excused herself to the bathroom and never came back. Only time that's ever happened to one of my clients.
That first date took 3 months to get. He averaged 1 match a week on Hinge. Took another 2 months before his second date.
Despite all of it, he never got bitter. Never blamed women. Never declared "dating is broken."
We didn't change his style. Just got him some horn-rim glasses and worked on his conversation skills.
Then he got his 3rd date. Hours before, she canceled. Gave some excuse. He suggested another time. She accepted.
They've been together for 18 months now.
She told him later she almost didn't text back when he suggested another time. Said she was done with apps and was about to delete Hinge.
His whole life changed because he sent one extra message.
I think about him often.

I analyzed 861 first dates.
Here’s the secret to making women say "Yes" to a second…

Working with a new client. 28 years old, works in Cybersecurity pitting AI's against each other. Wants a family.
I asked what he does after work. He said he games 3-4 hours every night with his online friends.
Said it's to decompress after work because he has no energy then.
So I asked him when he plans to go on dates, then.
"The weekends."
Then he said: "Look, gaming is no different from watching Netflix. I don't see the problem."
Is he right?
Client just turned 29.
He told me last year his birthday was a day of dread. He was down all day and could only dwell on the fact he was getting older.
This year he had great fun, is optimistic and excited for his future.
Amazing what the right system can do.
In a nutshell:
Transactional view of relationships.
You make the decision whether that's something you want in your life.
On Russian women, since this went viral:
I’ve dated a few Russian women, all over the world (Europe, Dubai, Bali)
> Russian women are not naive, they know men wanna fuck and know love is a game
> Russian women know that femininity is what men want:
- Look great
- Have good energy
- Don’t create drama
- Fuck you well
> In exchange, they know their worth:
- Pay for her things, many even expect allowances
- Don’t look at other women (they are protective af)
- Make time for her
The key difference vs. Western women, is that they are much clearer about what matters in relationships.
You don’t have to have the same hobbies or be looksmaxed.
Just a win-win value exchange
Once or twice a day I tidy up all the kids toys and put everything back in its place in the house.
Takes 5-10 minutes.
Prevents 90% of my wife’s bad moods.
Great cost/benefit analysis in my books.

After helping 45+ single men find relationships, I've noticed there's 3 patterns they all share.
All these guys had good jobs, were in shape and had a social life. But they couldn't figure out why they hadn't been on a date in months (sometimes years).
First, they all know what to do. They just can't do it.
They've read books on dating, watched YouTube videos, got advice from friends. "Logically" they know what to do. In reality, the moment comes and they freeze. They always resort back to the nice guy. Start overthinking.
Which means they never cross from friendly to romantic. All due to the gap between knowing, and doing.
Second, they wait. These are NOT lazy guys, but they put things off for ever changing reasons.
It starts off with waiting to finish school. Then they wait to get in shape. Then the promotion. Then for a house...
Years go by and they never move.
Thirdly, the wake-up call always comes. Eventually, a moment they never planned for shatters their excuses.
One of my clients nearly died in a car crash. One turned 36 and did the math on kids. Another watched someone the same age get married on Twitter and realized he'd been stalling for years.
That moment always comes. The only thing that changes is how much time you burn before it does.
Every one of them was hit with a choice. You will too.
Do you decide to change and meet someone now.
Or do you wait for life to decide for you.

Hinge is the best dating app in the world.
According to women, these are the top 10 opening lines:
1) "Sunday priorities: exercise, sleep, or aggressive mimosas?"
Took my son to his friend's birthday party yesterday.
Watched him tear after his friends laughing his head off.
I spent my late teens and early 20s chasing highs that wore off by morning.
A night out. A girl. Another drink...
Woke up every morning with less than I started with.
Now I'm standing in a garden watching my son hug his friend after playing pin the tail on the donkey.
My wife's hand in mine.
You won't find this guy complaining online:
- Skipped the couples dinner because he's the only single guy there
- "Forgets" to mention his birthday to friends
- Sat down alone for a hotel breakfast and felt the quiet sting he'd never admit to
- Sighs whenever a wedding invitation comes with a +1
- Has his career, gym, and finances handled, but hasn’t been on a date in a year
- Sees a girl he likes in a group and says nothing
They don't complain. That’s exactly why they end up being the best husbands and fathers.
They just haven’t been shown how to get there yet.

Married men live 10 years longer than single men. Earn 10-24% more. Are 135% more likely to report high life satisfaction. And have better sex.
Anti-marriage content is copium for men who can't attract a wife.
Boys in the 1950s implicitly understood the importance of looking good to find a wife.
Guys today won't shave in 2 weeks, throw on some cargo shorts and wonder why women don't look at them twice.
Looksmaxxing is just common sense taking to extremes.

Oh how the youth have changed. These lads talk about the importance of having a good suit in the 1950s. Their overall demeanour speaks volumes as to how the working-class understood the importance of personal, and cultural maintenance.
"I spend about 30 bob a week on clothes".
