Dolly Parton touches hearts not only through her music, but through her #humanity. Flaws and all, she is one of us, yet she represents the very best of what we can all aspire to be: kind, generous, humble and full of grace. #DollyParton

Mahershala Ali is calling out Marvel Studios for not making #Blade, which was officially announced at #ComicCon in 2019:
“I’ve been doing this professionally for pushing 30 years now, and one thing I’ve learned is that what is for you is for you and what is not is not. For whatever reason, that project is not for me. If they wanted to do it, we would’ve done it. So I have to move on, and I have moved on. Again, you had me under contract, they have billions of dollars, if they wanted to do the movie, we would’ve done the movie. So we’re not doing the movie.”

Plan an extremely ‘private’ event in the most public place on the planet and shout whispered plans to the world… Flaunt it in front of the world while simultaneously demanding privacy and distance #attentionseeking #neverenough

To everyone who helped bring the Obama Presidential Center to life, thank you. Michelle and I are so grateful for all your dedication and hard work over the years.
I got a little teary-eyed tonight thinking about my mother-in-law, Marian Robinson.

I beseech you, @IAMANITABAKER, tell me how I can help get ‘My Everything’ back out there. This is a masterpiece work; the songwriting, the musicianship, the performances…they helped shape my world. #FortheLoveofthecraft.
“Now I see bubbles… what does burning smell like?” with those words I was thrown into tears after a bout of laughter. @danlevy we all miss her, so much. #CatherineOHara.
“Bait” by @rizwanahmed is sharp, funny, and quietly devastating, it balances comedy and pathos with such precision. Beneath the wit, there’s a real bite, layered with thoughtful social commentary that lingers long after you’ve watched. A rare find entertaining and meaningful.
