Working on assignments and submitting them before the deadline...
I'm finding it so tough. My motivation and discipline is not there. So I'm doing it last minute. And there are 6 more coming in the new year. 😅
How are you finding your uni workload so far?
- Milana
We can talk about Unite Foundation Scholarship for hours because it's that good.
It offers accommodation with bills covered for up to 3 years at university. For estranged and care experienced students aged 25 or under.
The best part - new application cycle opens in January 🎉
Do you like Korean spicy food?
Try this quick and easy recipe. You don't even have to cook but only warm and boil your food until it's cooked.
All the ingredients are pretty ready. So just buy them in store and put them together.
Let us know if you’re going to try this 🙌

It's been so precious to be celebrating Estranged Student Solidarity Week with you ✨
Thank you so much for joining our livestream with Paige last Tuesday. We had a great chat and we will keep sharing more of it.
How did you find #ESSW2024? 👀
As care experienced and estranged students, we face more culture shock when starting university.
This was found in the recent Applicant Index report, done by @Unite_Student. And @ThisIsUniteFdn wrote a blog post on this topic, with our views as well 💜
You can read the blog post here unitegroup.com/articles/cult…

This was marked by a special episode on 'This Is Us' podcast.
We absolutely love this episode and this campaign so we hope you can support this campaign too. Because our problems don't have to be invisible no more

Listen to the full episode here where our host Paige Mackenzie chats to Sam and Ezra who have been affected by the issue, as well as Unite Foundation director Fiona Ellison. buff.ly/49iWoBt
Since March 2023, @ThisIsUniteFdn have been encouraging universities to provide a free guarantor service for all estranged and care experienced students. We face multiple barriers to securing suitable accommodation during our degree, including the need to access a rent guarantor
Happy Estranged Student Solidarity
Week 💜
As estranged students, we face a lot of barriers and challenges. But they remain invisible.
We can change that and this week, is a perfect opportunity to do that. Invisible no more 🙌

It was a special week and now we are getting ready to celebrate Estranged Students Solidarity Week which starts next week 🎉
Are you excited about next week? 👀
A short snippet of the conversation between David and Paige about the different societies that exist in universities for care experienced and estranged students.
The sad reality is that there are not many societies which exist.
As David rightly says, we should fight for more spaces for care experienced and estranged students. We can do this by starting our own initiatives to build our community. Could you start your own society for care experienced and estranged students in your university?
