AND the Nixon campaign now claims it "has used only" the parking lot of Nixon's cafe. Also false. Here's a picture I took of workers making Nixon campaign signs in the shop before her Aug kickoff event and a message it sent volunteers saying they would move "indoors" after.
Angie Nixon's spin here is demonstrably false. She identified herself as the active "director" of her charity in her financial disclosure filed Aug. 31 this year. Now she claims she resigned from the charity in December last year? Makes no sense. And this supposed disbandment last December? Also false. The charity notified Florida of this just a few weeks ago, AFTER @FreeBeacon contacted her campaign & charity about the issues that the @NLPC later covers in this complaint.

A conservative watchdog is accusing Florida Senate candidate Angie Nixon of blurring the lines between her nonprofit, her for-profit coffee shop and her political campaign — and wants the FEC, IRS and federal prosecutors to investigate. The National Legal and Policy Center filed a complaint Monday alleging Nixon's now-defunct 501(c)(3), the Moxie Group INC., listed $210,000 — 90 percent of its revenue — under a vague "other" category with no itemization whatsoever. The complaint also alleges the nonprofit's registration license was transferred to Nixon's personal for-profit business, that donations may have been solicited months after the charity's board voted to dissolve, and that her Café Resistance Bookstore and Coffee Shop doubled as a de facto campaign headquarters without proper payment. Socialist Florida Senate candidate Angie Nixon recently paid a Jacksonville auto body shop nearly $7,000 for “vehicle wash & road services.” The shop is owned by Nixon’s brother-in-law, @ThomasCatenacci reports, and the only “road service” it advertises is towing—for a $150 flat fee.

NEW: Ilhan Omar, whose husband's firm accepted $11.25m from an Indian billionaire in 2024, told Chris Hayes last week she struggles to pay rent for her 2 homes. Her claim defies belief—since 2023, Omar has accepted $118k in taxpayer funds to pay for her DC rent and daily meals as part of a little-known fringe congressional benefit. This is on top of her $174,000 salary. For more on this and the mysterious $11.25m cash infusion Omar's husband's venture capital firm received in 2024 👇 freebeacon.com/democrats/ilh…

James Talarico is running for Senate as a friend of Texas’s oil and gas industry. But as a state representative pushing a Texas version of the “Green New Deal,” he sought to eliminate a natural gas tax exemption that helps consumers save on their energy bills, @ThomasCatenacci reports.

EXCLUSIVE: Socialist Angie Nixon has pocketed at least $70,000 in personal income this year from a mysterious company linked to a prominent anti-ICE activist—all while running for Senate in Florida. “The wages, which helped Nixon break even after years of negative net worth, raise additional questions about her opaque personal finances, which are already the subject of a criminal referral from an ethics watchdog,” @ThomasCatenacci and @AndrewKerrNC report.

Where did you get all this money to settle your winery’s $780,000 lawsuit? $650 in the bank account in February 2024 when the business was imploding & couldn’t meet payroll. To $780,000 in November 2024 to settle this lawsuit. How remarkable!
Where do they get these absolute lies from?

Beyond parody: NC Gov Roy Cooper’s Top Climate Advisers’ Salaries Were Bankrolled by Environmentalist Nonprofit as They Imposed Left-Wing Climate Policies on State “Former North Carolina governor Roy Cooper's (D.) top climate advisers were paid for by a progressive nonprofit—the United Nations Foundation—in an initiative designed to enact left-wing climate policies at the state level, thus bypassing President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw America from the Paris Climate Accords, according to documents reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon. The advisers oversaw Cooper's policies prioritizing offshore wind projects, "decarbonizing" the state's electric grid, implementing electric car mandates, and making the state's buildings less dependent on natural gas.” freebeacon.com/democrats/exc…

Lol. CBS staffers are leaking to Semafor now b/c Bari Weiss had the audacity to ask her reporters to look into Abdul El-Sayed's ties to Muslim Brotherhood. How dare she! This would be a story only if Weiss forced them to report something that wasn't true. Otherwise, it's activism. And Semafor shouldn't treat these losers as if they have a valid complaint.

ICYMI: I asked President Trump yesterday about Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed’s ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Trump told me it poses significant security problems. Question came after colleague @ChuckRossDC’s must-read reporting on El-Sayed.
