The worst joke yet. Celebrating history in the year they announce the end of a crucial element to their success. Killing discs, strong-arming developers, shitting on their fans, and here they are acting like they give the slightest f*** about their history. Pathetic!
400 pages of gaming history.
PlayStation: The First 30 Years is available to order now, shipping in November: play.st/3Wdjffg
The editorial bootlicking from @pushsquare is something else. They've become a PR gear and do absolutely ZERO research. GKC ARE a physical format. Other industries would rip these reports to shreds. Wouldn't want to miss a PlayStation ad check or a free game code, no?

If there's a person whose opinion I trust very little when it comes to running a store it's Tim "AI Slop" Sweeney.
"Valve has held gaming back for years," Epic Games CEO proclaims in his latest jab against Steam gamesradar.com/games/valve-h…
Reminder: current PlayStation management knows so little about its history that they approved a Lego set with an analogue-less controller along with an Ape Escape diorama. Do not support these clowns.

Don't let @CapcomUSA_ fool you:
They include PC sales (digital only), count GKCs as digital, include DLC (digital only), and absolutely *dogpile* PS5/XSX physical sales with those numbers.
Of course physical is going to look like a small piece. That's intentional.
#NoDiscNoBuy
Again, this is what we're up against: low effort trolls simping mega corporations that try to make the industry worse. Show them receipts proving GKCs are, sadly, a physical sale and they resort to ignorance and personal attacks.
Say it with me @hawkaydan, #NoDiscNoBuy 😘

‼️ EU governments approved a GDPR change to let companies train AI on Europeans' personal data without consent.
It makes AI training a possible "legitimate interest", judged case by case. Parliament must still agree.
Max Schrems calls it a "digital expropriation" of Europeans.

Capcom be like: todo se vende en digital
Pero más de la mitad viene de una plataforma sin físico, las key-Card las cuentan como digital y suerte encontrando juegos físicos de Capcom en switch en europa y dependiendo del juego también en play

New sales data from Capcom is out and people once again quote the high digital sales percentage as if it means anything. Subtract all digital-only content and then talk about consumer preference. Also, notice how the YoY growth for physical is almost double that of digital?

Nintendo tiene una cláusula para impedir que los juegos de Nintendo Switch 2 en tarjeta llave tengan ediciones con cartuchos "de verdad", según una conocida tienda hobbyconsolas.com/videojuego…
Reminder that @capcom_official is lying about physical numbers. I despide GKC but they're deffinitely NOT a digital product.
Stop the enshittification of the industry NOW. While we're at it, let's remind all of you irresponsible corpos that #NoDiscNoBuy #SavePhysicalMedia
Sucks to hear. @PlayStation, this will only get worse when you kill discs. You will be taking away some major sales off of your studios, killing them in the procesos. #NoDiscNoBuy #SavePhysicalMedia

You have a few more days to save physical games. But don't wait too long, because everyday you keep acting arrogant towards your fan base more and more are leaving your platform. Just keep physical games as an option. Not rocket science.
