With Vortex, protocols get to use Hydro to bid on $ATOM to pair it with their token, as long as they pay for the IL.
Combine this with Hydro’s upcoming integration with @magmavaults for efficient liquidity management, and ATOM is well on its way to become the primary pair for Cosmos assets again

Last few weeks have made me even more bullish on Hydro.
USDC bucket has its first bids, huge progress on safely deploying volatile liquidity pairs, automating fund deployments.
Feeling grateful for the team and their commitment. Ready to accelerate

i'm constantly amazed by the fact that cosmos tech really embodies the "you can just do things" ethos
there's no other crypto stack where i can say "hey, i don't like this, so i'm gonna change it"
point in case: i didn't like that cosmos chains aren't supported by EVM wallets
one week later, i built a working prototype for metamask and rabby
in cosmos, you can just do things

@hodlmastermeto has introduced a draft proposal on the @cosmoshub forum to deploy the idle $USDC from the Hub’s community pool into @HydroTeam_
What is the motivation behind it? 👇🏻

A cool proposal was uploaded recently on @cosmoshub forum by @hodlmastermeto.
It's a prop for deploying $USDC from the Hub Community Pool via Hydro to DeFi apps in Cosmos (the Hub still owns the funds).
👉 Better liquidity for DeFi
👉 Yield generation for the Hub

Skip is already making all the big, bold & controversial moves that we hoped they would to make liquidity flow and the ecosystem thrive. What a time to be an $ATOM staker

Hmmm, maybe I guess you’ll just have to see?
Our thesis is that:
1. We need to monetize IBC in some capacity to be able to develop and support it long term
2. We have tried sourcing donations, but this hasn’t worked yet (maybe it will when there are bigger winners?)
3. Roughly the open core model developed in web 2 seems like a good approach. we’ll keep IBC open, we will support users deploying their own IBC connections etc… We will also build an infra platform around it to provide a proper product experience around it.
I’m extremely open to other ideas!

To everyone discovering the Hub is used as an IBC router -
You now understand the original Cosmos whitepaper!
By offering an incredible interop solution miles better than competition, Cosmos can sustainably build the best tech for you for years to come: massive win for the eco

When IBC V1 came out 4 years ago, it set the new standard for interop and started explosive growth in Cosmos.
Next month, IBC V2 comes out, which natively connects IBC to every chain on earth.

Happy Birthday Squid! Year two in production was all about building foundational infrastructure. Now this year we send it

We are thrilled to join the Interchain Inc. in an ongoing effort to bring Cosmos together 🚀
Stay tuned for more information!

Skip *is* the ICF now
Product, engineering, growth, business development, marketing, memes & everything else- all in-house at SkipHQ
The unified leadership that was missing for Cosmos & the Hub all these years

I definitely resonate with you on this. That being said, the Skip team is extremely talented, and I’m hopeful the ICF doesn’t create unnecessary friction. In fact, I’m more bullish than ever now that a dedicated product team is taking over.
I really hope the ICF reads the room this time and recognizes the importance of community support. Tech alone means nothing without a community backing it unless you have a business so strong it can justify the valuation on its own.

A race to see which Cosmos DAO can accrue the most $ATOM

Excited to participate in Hydro’s first round! 🙌
The goal is to make $dATOM the most liquid LST by increasing $ATOM/dATOM liquidity, primarily on @astroport_fi.
This strengthens the peg and improves swap efficiency, contributing to $25M+ in DEX liquidity for $dATOM 🌊
1/ Meet @dropdotmoney - a cross-chain liquid staking protocol for the Interchain 💧
ATOM stakers will be able to vote to deploy Protocol-Owned-Liquidity to Drop. Learn about Drop’s bid below 🧵

Next year is going to look very different. We’re on the edge of a step change in multichain UX.
Once you fix:
- unified balances
- cheap instant cross chain swaps
- gas abstraction
- multi-vm wallets
You have enough for a decentralised experience to rival CEXs.

This is so real.
For years, thinkbois argued that intents > routing.
But then, the intents maxis realized they were super hard to generalize, despite being fast.
Today, Skip:Go solved the great tradeoff, allowing fast access to thousands of assets.
And we did it for Cosmos

Hydro is a win-win for everyone:
$atom stakers get higher rewards & more control.
Projects get critical liquidity to grow.
The Cosmos ecosystem flourishes.
This is just the beginning. Hydro is here to take @cosmoshub $ATOM to unprecedented heights.
