Nah, I will always be upset at people chowing public funds and living the high life off corruption and denying people much-needed services. Their happiness will always be annoying, and there is nothing to introspect there.

These auditors are necessary and appreciated
It's scary how ignorant this sergeant is on the law. If he does not know this, I can only imagine what else he does not know about his job. 🤦
an independent journalist was conducting routine investigative newsgathering outside on county property. Instead of recognizing constitutionally protected activity in a traditional public forum, facility management panicked over a camera, and deputies rolled up to enforce feelings over statutory law.
What unfolded next should alarm every taxpayer who expects competence from the badge.
A ranking sergeant arrived on scene and immediately attempted to threaten the journalist with criminal trespass, insisting that because the facility director "didn't want him there," his presence was unlawful.
When the journalist pushed back and demanded to know how a citizen can be trespassed from open public grounds without committing any underlying crime, the sergeant doubled down, arguing that simply being asked to leave public property magically transforms ordinary presence into a criminal act.
Let that sink in. This isn’t a recruit fresh out of the academy on day one of field training. This is a supervisor. A sergeant who wears stripes, oversees junior deputies, and possesses the authority to direct street arrests, yet he somehow lacks the fundamental training to understand that county property is public property.
He genuinely believed that municipal employees can arbitrarily revoke public access from outdoor spaces based purely on discomfort.
If a law enforcement supervisor doesn’t understand the basic legal threshold required to trespass someone from publicly owned grounds, what else doesn't he know about his job?
What does his lack of training mean when he's handling warrantless searches, fourth amendment seizures, or use of force? Ignorance of constitutional law at a supervisory rank isn’t just embarrassing, it’s genuinely dangerous for the public under their jurisdiction.
Rather than caving to the intimidation, the journalist held his ground, calmly stood on the law, and advised the sergeant to contact his lieutenant before walking into a civil rights violation on camera. While the supervisor stepped away to make that call, the journalist documented the scene, confirmed he was not detained, and called out waste over idling cruisers.
When the sergeant finally returned after conferring with upper command, the outcome was inevitable, law enforcement realized they had zero legal grounds to trespass, detain, or identify him.
Defeated and attempting to save face, one deputy remarked that they weren't going to let the journalist "bait" them.
Refusing to let an untrained officer trample your rights isn't "bait." It’s a defining moment for the citizen journalist and a glaring reminder of why leadership training standards across law enforcement demand immediate scrutiny.

KD has mastered the individual craft of putting the ball in the hoop.
But he’s not even close to understanding, let alone mastering the team sport that is basketball.
Kevin Durant says where he would rank himself among the all time greats
“I just look at it like, I can’t relate to Michael Jordan, Kobe, LeBron, Wilt... I mean, I could talk deeply about the game of basketball with all of them. I’m at that table for sure. I’m not saying I’m better or they’re better, because it don’t really matter. I feel like I mastered the game, and that should be the only goal for every player.”
“I don’t care about Magic Johnson or Larry Bird, what they’ve done in comparison to me. I’m with the standard, the standard that they set. I want to reach that as far as longevity, relevance, impact on the game, impact on the city, championships. I want that too.”
“At one point, I realized none of that matters. Why am I comparing myself to another man? I should just be playing against myself, trying to be better. Leave that up to the fans.”
“I’m not comparing myself to another human being in anything that I do. I’m inspired by people, don’t get me wrong. I want to emulate great people and successful people. I want to do what they do, and I want to learn from people who make mistakes.”
“But I’m not sitting here trying to be better than you. I’m not going into the gym working on my shot saying, ‘This right here is going to make me better than Bird. This is going to make me better than Magic or Jordan.’”

Some rich people DO NOT FUCK AROUND.
Paris Hilton says her parents sent her away to schools for troubled teens because they didn't want their reputation ruined.
She spent 11 months in one of them, and her mother says, "We were trying to save Paris."
In the video below, Paris describes begging her parents to let her come home. "I promise I'll never go to a club again."
She couldn't convince them, and the last school was Provo Canyon School in Utah, "the worst of the worst." She recalls being given pills without knowing what they were and being put in solitary confinement.
Her parents in New York didn't know, and she hated them. While she was there, Paris says, she decided to become "so successful that my parents could never control me again."
She kept quiet about the school for 20 years, until her documentary This Is Paris came out. Her mother watched it holding Paris's hand for an hour, and afterwards fell into a depression.
But her mother explains that Paris was sneaking out, sometimes for three days at a time, and skipping school. Her parents didn't know what to do: "Should we move to the moon?"
Paris has campaigned against these schools for years. This summer Utah revoked the licenses of both Provo Canyon School campuses.
Were Paris's parents trying to save their daughter, or their reputation?

Adrian Ramsay put forward his case for the future of the Green Party a year ago, and lost - by a landslide 84%.
Replying to @AdrianRamsay
@AdrianRamsay warns Greens at a 'crossroads', says there is a risk under @ZackPolanski party 'digs in' with 'small groups of people on the hard left' going round trying to influence how parties are run -
He is not calling for Polanski to go, but clearly calling on him to act after controversial conference motion -
Really worth listening to Ramsay, who has been in the party since 1998, make his arguments -

Clifton Powell reveals his son dated Obama’s daughter and I WARNED him “SECRET SERVICE will come get both of us” if he ever puts his hands on her
“Yeah, they dated for a little bit. They still good friends… He got a chance to meet Michelle and Obama… and they have a great friendship… they still go out, and they still friends.”
“And my son is a writer living out in LA… my little daughter is a nail technician… I’m proud of my babies. And I got two grandbabies.”
“I just… don’t put your hands on her. Cause Secret Service gonna come get both of us, and I’m not going. I’m telling you now… I raised my son to be respectful… When you’re in love, man, it’s emotional. I’m like, bro, whatever you do, walk away… cause I can’t save you from the CIA.”
“Winning the Oscar is the kiss of death… you hit a ceiling and there’s nowhere to go. Once you hit the top, the only place to go is down… If you don’t follow it up with hit after hit… then you flop and they really hard on you… Your price skyrockets… agents ain’t gonna take a lower deal. It’s a false bottom… a lot of people just fall off.”
“I am not gonna comment about Spike Lee. I said what I said and I stand by what I said… Go do your research. Listen to what Charles Dutton said — he said Clifton Powell wasn’t wrong… I don’t dislike Spike Lee, I dislike some of his business practices… I’m never going to accept a black man doing to us what the man has been doing… We gotta be better than the man to each other.”
