I’m all for these small things that help. They’re better than a kick to the dick, and for some they really will accumulate. But £21 saved on gherkins and chocolate each year?! Why even bother announcing that?!
🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham has announced five "everyday fixes" ahead of the Budget 1. Carer's Allowance will be changed so carers no longer lose their entire benefit when they earn over the limit - instead, their support will reduce by £1 for every extra £1 they earn 2. Import tariffs will be removed on more than 100 products, including baked beans, chocolate and gherkins, to save households up to £21 on their food shop a year 3. Tax-free mileage rates for workers using their own cars will be made permanent at 55p per mile for the first 10,000 miles, with the rate for additional miles rising from 25p to 35p 4. Parental pay will be extended to over 150,000 more parents a year, including self-employed fathers and partners 5. Hundreds more Post Office drop boxes will be rolled out to save people queueing at branches

Emma makes stuff up. Emma is a liar. Don’t be like Emma.
Tesco supermarket this afternoon. Got chatting to lovely cashier, im guessing in her 60s. Swiftly conversation moved to politics, the total incompetents running this destroyed bum hole of a country. Cupping her hand over her mouth and leaning towards me she said, " there is only one man capable of fixing this, Rupert Lowe." I fully concurred

Worth some of us remembering this… We know things could be a lot better, but they could be A WHOLE lot worse.
Regardless of performances, if someone had offered me 4th place, 2 points off 2nd, and a BCD victory after 12 games at the end of last season, I would have snapped your hand off. Seems that a lot of people who are unhappy were predicting a double relegation. Perspective needed.

César is not the guy. He was never the guy. Fosun told fans they’d take this season seriously. “Promotion at all costs” they said. Lies. Yet again. Then they put this guy in charge and did nothing of note in the transfer window. Start the protests again FFS. #WWFC

.@SkySports @SkyFootball The audio on the Wolves game is awful tonight. Can barely hear the stadium, and commentators sound like they’re in a broom cupboard…

This is not news. Clubs announce they earnings and losses every year. Hardly groundbreaking. Just interesting that the public are being fed this kind of news alongside the Man City situation… 🤔 Watch the rules change and City come out of it smelling of roses…
BREAKING: Football regulators have reported that 94% of English clubs are loss-making. Sky's @RobHarris has the latest and explains the importance of the report's timing ⬇️

🤣🤣🤣 that’s not how it works bro.
IF City’s verdict is upheld on appeal, sanctions should be: Everton: 3 years of financial irregularities- 6 point deduction. City: 9 years of financial irregularities. Three times longer. 6x3 =18 City might face an 18 point deduction. For one season. 👍

Why do City fans genuinely believe that the Premier League has only existed and been loved watched since they started cheating?? The arrogance is next level!
Silver lining if City are relegated. Man Utd are in so much debt that City leaving the league will crucify them for good. Investers will side step the PL and invest elsewhere in La Liga, League 1 etc. The funding in the PL will drop and United will default on their 1.1bn loan.

Apparently city have been trying to “give a voice to the voiceless”… Funny how they were completely silent on this until they were found to be cheating. You aren’t heroes. Your cheats.
If not double standard explain why Newcastle and Villa can’t freely spend their owners’ money because of FFP, while Man United can borrow billions from banks and still spend. This is exactly what City are fighting to change, give a voice to the voiceless, build a league where everyone, even Sunderland, can dream of winning it. You see why they don't want city 🤷 Owners’ money is the problem, but borrowing isn’t? Now explain the logic.

The most underused piece of F1 equipment. They’d rather wait an hour and a half until it’s dry, and then put the best drivers in the world out on inters/slicks. Completely pointless.
Your time to shine buddy 🥹 #BahrainGP

Suggesting that the sponsors are bigger than the sport highlights exactly what is wrong and has been wrong with football for a long time. If it needs a reset, so be it. But don’t suggest the Premier League would collapse. That’s just ridiculous.
If all the Arab sponsorship was pulled from the Premier League..it would collapse in a week. A Super League would never take off without them because they pay the biggest sponsorship deals. The big question that has to be asked is: Where does that leave English Football.
