Many of the defendants I prosecute and defend who are on bail awaiting sentence and likely to face prison are rapists and serious sex offenders. @RishiSunak and his colleagues are preventing the criminal justice system from imprisoning rapists. Let that sink in.

Sorry to bang on, but I find this incomprehensible. The Government’s been warning for weeks this crisis was coming. How did no-one say “what will our policy on refugees actually be when he invades”. It doesn’t get any more basic than this.
