Party tonight at Arnold's Diner if the Brewers win. Richie, Potsie and the Fonz will all be there.

For those of us fortunate enough to have covered Chris Bassitt during his time in Toronto, this comes as no surprise.
Congratulations to Chris. Well deserved 👏
Chris Bassitt's commitment to his fellow players is unwavering. 🫡
Thank you for your dedication, Chris, and congratulations on being named the 2026 Players Choice Awards Marvin Miller Man of the Year!

Wonder how many job postings we will see with the #Rogers marketing, retention and pricing / subscription teams in the upcoming weeks? 🤔 😂
Zero sympathy for this company!

A few years ago after Toronto beat Edmonton Mike Babcock (TOR HC at the time) made a statement suggesting then-Oilers head coach Todd McLellan played McDavid/Draisaitl too much.
Today, McDavid is averaging 23:39. Highest of his career. McLellan was asked if maybe Mike understands the dynamic differently now that he is coaching them.
""He (McDavid) is the best player in the world right now, and in my opinion it isn't close. He's healthy, he can handle those minutes and he has an engine that is incredible. When the whistle goes, those types of players look back at you when you are on the bench, put me out there. It is hard not to put them out there because you are trying to win games, and he's not tired, he's not hurt, he's not anything other than playing well. I don't blame Mike, I'd play him that much too."

Makes sense. #NHLJets legend Dustin Byfuglien has been serving double doubles for years.
Rogers just cold called me! They hung up in less than 10 seconds when I said they are the worst company in Canada right now! 😂

Gawd the big man is still a legend!
Dustin Byfuglien held court with media for 10 minutes just now and didn’t disappoint.
On why he stayed with #NHLJets so long?
“Well, all my stuff was here.”
He got very emotional at times, too. This alumni homecoming means a lot.
Story coming for @WinnipegNews

Dru brown replaced injured Zach Collaros & sparked a struggling Wpg offence as the Bombers overcome a 10-7 deficit & beat a BC team, using largely backups, 34-10 to claim the final CFL playoff spot. Brown was 11/11 for 185 yds and 2 td’s. 10th straight year in playoffs for Wpg.

Just checked Ticketmaster for the New Jersey Devils/Winnipeg Jets game at Canada Life Centre on Nov 10.
Tickets that were priced at $50 this morning are now approaching $200 and lower level seats priced at $120 are now selling for $550.

Jets didnt get the name player they were hoping for in the Hellebuyck trade but Mercer is a good 40-point a season 24-year old NFLD-er….and Alex Command is an 18yr old Swede, 12th overall pick in ‘26 with lots of upside. He’s the key. As with all trades, time will tell.
Just one of the best sporting days of my life!
Oct. 23, 1993: @joecarter_29 drilled a walk-off, three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth to lift the #bluejays to the #worldseries title with an 8-6 victory over the @phillies.
Philly had led 6-5 before Touch 'Em All Joe connected off Mitch Williams.
