KOSA is rated T for Treasonous!
45 attorneys general have written to Congress demanding it quickly pass the Senate’s Kids Online Safety Act, with the "duty of care" intact.
That clause makes platforms liable for content a regulator decides is harmful, so sites will delete lawful speech to stay out of court.
The AGs openly describe their $17 billion Meta settlement as a stepping stone. That deal forces Meta to age-check every Facebook and Instagram user with ID or a face scan, and both sides agreed never to challenge it as unconstitutional.
They also want KOSA to leave their own state powers untouched, so they can keep adding rules on top. They want one federal standard and fifty extra ones as well. Every version ends with an ID check.

She should give up on KOSA, am I right, @ChibiReviews?
Here’s an idea, we can use Jar Jar Binks as a symbol of bills like KOSA (kind, but is actually sinister in plain sight if you really pay attention to specific details):
“Me-sa use-a verification of age to keep the younglings a-safe online!”
MAGA influencers, Elon Musk and the Trump administration are embracing an unlikely symbol of young men's political frustrations:
Anakin Skywalker, the "Star Wars" hero who becomes Darth Vader.
axios.com/2026/11/02/anakin-…
A bit of an exaggeration, but does this mean the next step is the government eliminating things or even people they don’t like, as well as “individuals too powerful for them”?
People they don’t like? Too powerful?
Holy Sh*t! Does that mean ME?😳
Privacy is already dead. Why bother fighting?
Because if it were dead, they would not be working this hard to kill it.
Online child safety laws exist because anonymity still exists. Age verification exists to force a digital ID on every person online. Then comes the rest: AI monitoring, CBDCs that can block your money, social credit that scores your obedience.
They need your ID because you still have the right to be anonymous.
And to the person who says they have nothing to hide: privacy is not about hiding. It is what makes every other right real. No privacy, no free speech. No privacy, no free worship. No privacy, no free assembly.
The fight is not lost. It is happening right now.
Send this to someone who has given up.
Follow me. Every day I show you how to fight back.

How about empowering and educating the PARENTS instead of creating a nanny state, which will rob all of us of our rights and online freedom!
LYNN'S WARRIORS 💙STATEMENT: META SETTLES AGAIN. BUT WHO IS PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN?
ANOTHER SETTLEMENT. ANOTHER FAMILY. ANOTHER WARNING. HOW MANY MORE CHILDREN MUST SUFFER BEFORE CONGRESS ACTS?
Once again, Meta has settled a lawsuit involving allegations that its social media platforms contributed to serious harm to a young person.
The latest settlement, just announced on October 30, involves a teen who alleged that features of Facebook and Instagram contributed to compulsive use, mental health problems and eating disorders. Meta "denies" designing its platforms to addict children and points to safety measures it has introduced.
But at Lynn's Warriors💙, our concern extends far beyond any single lawsuit or settlement.
WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY? WHERE IS THE PREVENTION? WHO IS PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN?
Behind every lawsuit is a young person whose experiences deserve to be heard. Behind every courtroom battle is a family seeking answers. And behind every settlement is a question that money alone cannot answer: What must change to prevent other children from experiencing similar harm?
📣Families should not have to enter a courtroom to demand safer digital environments.
📣Parents should not have to become investigators to understand the risks their children face online.
📣And children should not have to navigate systems designed to maximize engagement without meaningful, independently evaluated safeguards.
We understand that Meta has entered into agreements requiring additional protections for children and teens. Those commitments must be independently monitored, enforced and measured against actual outcomes.
But settlements are not substitutes for comprehensive national safeguards.
🚨CONGRESS, THE TIME FOR ACTION IS NOW.
🚨Lynn's Warriors💙 calls for urgent consideration and passage of strong, constitutionally sound child-protection legislation, including:
🚨THE KIDS ONLINE SAFETY ACT (KOSA), S.1748: Establish meaningful protections against online risks - "duty of care" and require greater accountability for platform features affecting minors.
🚨THE STOP CSAM ACT: Strengthen reporting, accountability and legal remedies for survivors of child sexual abuse material, including emerging forms of AI-generated exploitation.
🚨THE GUARD ACT: Establish age-verification requirements and other safeguards for artificial intelligence chatbots interacting with minors.
And these measures must be part of a broader commitment to student privacy, stronger reporting systems, effective enforcement, independent research and meaningful parental tools.
🇺🇸This is not a Republican issue. 🇺🇸This is not a Democratic issue.
THIS IS AN AMERICAN CHILD-SAFETY ISSUE.🇺🇸
Our children are not bargaining chips. Their emotional well-being is not a corporate accounting expense. Their childhood should never be treated as an experiment in maximizing clicks, advertising revenue or engagement.
At Lynn's Warriors💙, we stand with survivors, parents and advocates who refuse to accept the idea that preventable harm is simply the cost of living in a digital world.
We call on Congress to resolve the legislative differences and act before the end of the year. We call on technology companies to demonstrate through independent evidence that their protections work. And we call on every parent, grandparent and concerned citizen to demand transparency and accountability.
ONE MORE SETTLEMENT IS NOT THE ANSWER. PREVENTING THE NEXT HARM MUST BE THE GOAL.
Protect our children. Empower families. Support survivors. Demand accountability.
CHILDREN FIRST. FAMILIES ALWAYS. CONGRESS, ACT NOW!

Replying to @TimMurphyUSA
Jonathan Haidt's "The Anxious Generation" book is a good campfire/fireplace fuel.
Rather than read even a single page of it.
F*** KOSA, The SCREEN Act, Digital ID, Age Verification, ALL the groups that want to ban video games, Moral panic, Jonathan Haidt’s books, People trying to end Section 230, and…
F*** Nanny States! Have a pleasant evening.
With Love,
Tim😉
Why are people in political office trying to censor the internet? Why are they attacking video games and anime too?
What is the point of them doing these things, knowing that they’re going to violate the United States constitution?
Hey EU! How about ending all of your Orwellian internet laws altogether?
The European Union’s Digital Services Act gives Brussels significant influence over what people see online—and critics warn that its reach extends to Americans.
With the midterm elections approaching, the law’s pressure on tech platforms to restrict alleged “misinformation” and “hate speech” could threaten Americans’ ability to freely debate political issues and choose their leaders, writes @Jeremy_Tedesco

Three systems. One cage.
Digital ID: they know exactly who you are.
AI: they know everything you did.
CBDCs: they decide whether you can pay.
No court. No trial. Just a declined payment.
It is coming, and age verification is how it gets in the door. Share this with someone who says it cannot happen here.
Follow me. I sound the alarm daily so we can stop it in time.
I have three things to say about this:
1) a nanny state isn’t “game-changing”, it’s “game-banning”!
2) Nobody wants the UNITED STATES to become an authoritarian country with mandatory digital ID!
3) KOSA won’t make things safe, it does the opposite and will make things worse!
💙 LYNN'S WARRIORS💙STANDS WITH @fairplayforkids! Congress must pass the Kids Online Safety Act (S. 1748) by the end of this year and STOP🛑 protecting META.
📣We strongly agree with Fairplay's statement exposing Meta's reported goal to get the academic community to "disavow" and "turn against" Jonathan Haidt.
📣A company that seeks to discredit those raising concerns about children's safety must be held accountable.
📣OUR CHILDREN DESERVE PROTECTION, NOT CORPORATE INTIMIDATION! ❌
Read Fairplay's statement. 📝
“A company that comes up with a secret plot to take down a popular academic is not a company we can trust with our kids’ well-being. These internal documents from Meta demonstrate once again that the company is far more concerned with managing its reputation than actually making Instagram safer and less addictive for young people. Rather than engage with the substance of Jonathan Haidt’s evidence-based criticisms, Meta launched a covert plan to discredit an academic whose best-selling book helped galvanize a parent movement. It’s also revealing that Meta completely undermined its own well-being team to the point that employees made a spreadsheet to track all the times in-house counsel interfered with their work.
“At this point, it’s clear that Meta has no interest in engaging critics in good faith or even making its products safe for kids, so it’s up to Congress to step in and force the company to stop addicting and harming our children. We call on Congress to stop protecting Meta and pass the game-changing Kids Online Safety Act by the end of the year.”
