And YOU will pay the increased prices AND subsidise their bill.

Men after the Russell Brand trial: "So we have to get consent for *everything* now??"
Yes, mate. Yes you do.
That's how being a non rapist works.

Doesn’t this already happen? - including in the Brand case. Worry that calling for a statutory obligation for judges to do something they already do risks giving victims the impression rape myths regularly go unchallenged in our courts and discourages them from coming forwards.
Victims need confidence that the justice process is fair and based on evidence, not myths and false assumptions about trauma.
I am calling for the Courts and Tribunals Bill to require judges to address rape myths when directing juries in every rape trial theguardian.com/uk-news/2026…

Sylvie Berki is still not allowed to talk about her encounter with Russell Brand, despite his convictions for rape & sexual assault. His lawyers got a judge to grant a lifelong injunction in 2014 that bans her from even telling her family what he did to her. How is this okay?

And for the judiciary: how could a judge grant such an order against an unrepresented defendant, without a trial, without determining whether her allegations were true and without, it seems, any assessment of proportionality?

On Thursday I wrote about the 2014 injunction Russell Brand obtained against a woman who accused him of assault.
I've now obtained the final order. It's breathtaking.
She had no lawyer. No trial. Yet she was silenced for life - even barred from speaking to the police.

How refreshing, to see an MP actually speaking the truth about benefits, instead of contributing to the web of disinformation spun by far too many others in the House.

We need to stop it.

When a man you don't even know is convicted of raping / sexually assaulting several women by a jury and your first instinct is to rush out to defend him online, you are telling the world exactly who you are

We need an honest debate about welfare, not one built on myths and misinformation.
The repeated claim that people receive PIP for mild anxiety simply isn't true. PIP is assessed on someone's ability to carry out everyday tasks, not on their condition or diagnosis.

The rank hypocrisy of a woman who draws a generous salary and claims her living expenses from the tax payer - costing MUCH more than anyone on universal credit - which also incudes claimants in work on low pay. The wealthy cost the UK far more than the poor.
