🚨 Roy Keane on the refereeing in Arsenal vs Leeds: 🗣️“Are Arsenal players immune to yellow cards or what? Because I don’t understand what I’m watching here. The entire first half has been about Leeds players getting booked. Every time you look, another Leeds player is in trouble with the referee. But the Tanaka booking for the challenge on Lewis-Skelly was ridiculous. Skelly tried to dribble past him, lost the ball, and Tanaka read it perfectly to win possession. What exactly has he done wrong there? I genuinely don’t understand the decision. Even Tanaka’s reaction tells you everything. The lad couldn’t believe he’d been booked. Look, if it’s a foul, it’s a foul. Book him if he’s committed a bookable offence. But you have to apply the same standards to both teams. You cannot keep punishing one side and expect people not to question your decisions. The consistency is the problem here, and the referee needs to explain that decision.”
