Cancel Culture Is About Getting a Pint of Blood w/ Jim Norton | The Tim Pool Show
I'm joined by comedian Jim Norton to discuss the return of cancel culture, political hypocrisy on both sides of the aisle, the growing obsession with outrage, and how social media is making everything worse. We also get into free speech, the state of comedy, Joe Rogan, and why people seem more interested in being angry than having honest conversations.
Jim Norton is an American stand-up comedian, actor, author, and podcast host best known for his work on Opie and Anthony and Jim Norton & Sam Roberts. He currently co-hosts the UFC's UFC Unfiltered podcast and continues to perform stand-up comedy nationwide.

Ilhan Omar IS A FAKE NAME Reports Fox, SHES COOKED | Timcast IRL xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1qxoNYvav…
It is a felony to file for office under a fake name
NEW: @FoxNews Digital reports via two sources, including law enforcement, that Ilhan Omar is not the real name of the Minnesota Congresswoman.
It is Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, as referenced in the Feds’ motion seeking to prevent the search warrant for her home from being unsealed.

Are you related to him, is there a kernel of truth?
"Not to my knowledge"
Its literally that bad
This clip of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is getting a lot of attention tonight, but many of the people sharing it are misstating what she was asked.
When she said, "Not to my knowledge," she was not answering whether she had married her brother.
Chris Hayes had already asked about the brother claim, and she called it “insane” and a right-wing conspiracy theory initially started by a Somali blog.
"Not to my knowledge" was her answer to his follow-up, whether she was related to the man in any way.
People are welcome to criticize her for that — but they should at least get the question she was asked right.

ILHAN OMAR: HOW PASSPORT FRAUD MAY BE ANOTHER AVENUE FOR PROSECUTION
Seasoned federal investigators know passport fraud may be another path to criminal charges.
18 U.S.C. § 1542 (False Statement in Application)
- Prohibits making any false statement in a passport application, using a passport obtained via false statements, or using a passport with an assumed/false name to hide criminal behavior
The 10-year statute of limitations on passport fraud is reset every time the individual renews their passport if the underlying application records, such as a Social Security Number, were obtained through fraud.
For example, the suspect lied about the true date and place of their birth to obtain a social security number.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: AMERICAN TERRORIST
This legal strategy was used to obtain a holding charge for the American terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki after 9/11.
Anwar al-Awlaki was a dual U.S.-Yemeni citizen.
The radical cleric, who became a top al Qaeda leader, was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where his parents lived at the time.
He later grew up in Yemen.
When it was time for college, Awlaki gamed the system.
He applied for tuition assistance through the State Department and USAID to finance his studies at Colorado State University.
Awlaki was not eligible for financial support as a U.S. citizen, so he used his Yemeni passport (and false claims about his birthplace) to secure roughly $20,000 in scholarship money.
It was the beginning of the big grift.
When the Joint Terrorism Task Force investigated Awlaki after 9/11 for his relationship and material support of hijackers in San Diego and Virginia, a seasoned federal investigator ran down the scholarship scam.
Unfortunately, the statute of limitations had run out on the USAID tuition fraud.
A State Department Diplomatic Security Agent then discovered Awlaki made false statements to secure a J-1 visa (a non-immigrant visa for educational purposes.)
Once in the U.S., Awlaki applied for a Social Security Number, falsely claiming he was born in Yemen.
Awlaki used the fraudulently obtained Social Security Number to fraudulently obtain a U.S. passport.
The 10-year statute of limitations reset every time the American terrorist renewed his passport.

Chris Hayes asked Ilhan Elmi, aka Ilhan Omar. whether there's "some weird kernel of truth" to claims that her ex-husband Ahmed Elmi was her brother,
Her answer? "Not to my knowledge."

A winery owned by Ilhan Omar's husband reportedly SHUT DOWN amid allegations of fraud, including claims it sold EMPTY wine barrels to investors.
The controversy sparks a broader discussion about immigration, government assistance programs, and the responsibility of American leaders to prevent fraud and abuse.
"When our leaders invited these people and said 'Go ahead and do whatever you want', this is what you get."
