The Charlotte Hornets on Feb. 11 are retiring the No. 1 jersey of Muggsy Bogues, the shortest player in NBA history at 5-foot-3. Bogues spent 10 of his 14 NBA seasons in Charlotte (1988-1998) and is the franchise leader in assists, steals and minutes.

Utah Jazz star Jaren Jackson Jr. has sustained a torn MCL in his right knee and will be sidelined for 6-to-8 weeks, sources tell me and @BannedMacMahon. Jackson will not require surgery.

Don’t think Karl tells her to take the middy. Don’t make sense. Practices it before and refuses to take it

Atlanta goes with their guard play. Guard-centered offense. ALL guards must be better. Angel has to trust her training more. Midrange is there and she’s capable. Make her guard you outside that paint.

Angel asked tonight about when shift took place with the refs. This is the ridiculous non call last game she is speaking about. Says Gabby clearly pulled and fouled her and was screaming that she intended to and the refs still didn’t call a foul. Unacceptable

Angel Reese blatantly fouled by Gabby Williams and nothing was called. Ridiculous

Atlanta Dream coach Karl Smesko calls out refs for allowing contact on Angel Reese that is called for everyone on the Valkyries. Smesko says they are always missing blatant double dribbles/travels and that you can’t be at this level and make that many mistakes.

Angel Reese says it’s been frustrating trying to navigate through the physicality the Valkyries are playing with in the series. She says they are being fouled and when they address the refs about it they say we’ll get you next time. That’s diabolical. WNBA officials are brutal.

Angel Reese on what the Dream discussed in the locker room after rough game 5 loss. She says everyone knows they have to take it one game at a time and keep believing they can win overcome 3-2 deficit. The Dream must fight off elimination at home on Thursday.

Amen Thompson just got benched for the 4th. More turnovers than assists tonight.

Dak refuses to target RBs. Gonna have 35 pass attempts and none to running backs. Incredible
