At 10:46 AM, I got a notification that my transaction was being processed. While waiting I created my transaction PIN for smoother process. I waited for the expected processing time, but the transaction timed out. I clicked the reprocess button and also reached out to customer support. I got a response fairly quickly, explaining that processing time depends on the trade option selected: Fast Trade: 15–30 minutes. Slow Trade: 2–4 hours. I kept monitoring my transaction, and exactly 45 minutes after submission, it was marked successful. One thing I didn’t expect was the change in exchange rate. When I submitted my E-code, the rate was ₦1,012.27/$. By the time it was redeemed and my transaction was completed, the rate had increased to ₦1,100/$. I was genuinely surprised. I had expected the rate to remain the same, so seeing the difference was a nice bonus. I also initially thought I could withdraw both my redeemed amount and the ₦2,000 new-user bonus. However, I found out that I needed to complete a valid transaction of at least ₦15,000 to unlock the bonus for withdrawal. I decided to leave the bonus for now and withdraw my redeemed gift card funds instead. The withdrawal was pretty fast, which was another good part of the experience. My verdict? Yes, the transaction took 45 minutes, and there was a timeout along the way.
