I want every kid in America to understand that if they want to, they will be able to go to college or trade school regardless of their income.

I am introducing a bill with Rep. Khanna to stop Donald Trump from illegally taking us to war against Iran.
It's working-class kids who will have to fight and die in a disastrous new Middle East conflict—not the children of billionaires.
Congress has the power to change course and stop a war with Iran.
@SenSanders and I are introducing legislation to block Pentagon funding for any unilateral actions this president takes to wage war against Iran without Congressional authorization.
Enough.

A huge thank you to our community partners, Warren Road Church, and their amazing quilting guild ladies who sewed quilts for every Wildwood Kindergartener.

Number of bridges we need to repair in Michigan: 1000
Number of bridges the Republican budget would have repaired: 4
The budgets the Republicans sent me were a joke. It’s time for them to come to the table and offer a real, long-term solution for our crumbling infrastructure.

Today I signed all 16 state budgets and issued 147 line-item vetoes. The budgets the Republicans sent me were a mess, and I used my executive power to protect Michiganders public health and safety, access to healthcare, and classroom spending for our children. #MIBudget

This is the first time in the last 9 years that we haven't passed a budget before the start of the school fiscal year.
Our students and educators deserve better.
Let's get it done.

You've got a lot to be proud of, Jiwandeep. Thanks for everything you do to make this country a little more equal. Turban looks great, by the way. Happy Pride Month, everybody!
