AI makes it easier for professionals to build solutions to the problems they know best, without the cost of hiring an engineering team. It’s exciting to see innovation everywhere, and it’s why I’m building a platform to improve a process I know firsthand. Will share more soon!

Reposted a great startup yesterday, and I have to do it again today. Pat saw a need in his own CRE workflow and built a tool to address it. In doing so, he created something that can help so many others in the industry. Keep it up @PatCarino ! 👏👏
For 15 years my deal tracking lived in 4 places: an Excel spreadsheet, Google Maps, county GIS sites, and Outlook. So about 2 years ago I started building DealNav. I took everything I loved about the other CRMs and cut everything I hated. Simple interface. Transparent pricing. Just the features that matter. Easy data export. And of course, an INTEGRATED map. As of today it checks all my original boxes... and then some. DealNav 3.0 is live!!!!! Click a parcel. See the owner. Track the deal. Put AI to work on your data. All on one map 🗺️📍 Two risk-free 3.0 offers*: - Book an onboarding with a co-founder after joining. Love it in 60 days or get a full refund. - Post about a deal you're tracking in DealNav weekly until it closes. Account free for life. Link in replies 👇

Innovation... Love seeing an operator build a product with their accumulated experience to help push the entire industry forward.
RunEnvelope is now open to every owner, developer, broker and lender. Type any NYC address. Every legal scenario modeled as a building, every floor drawn, every number cited. Free to check. The part I care about most: before every release it is checked against licensed professionals' studies and hundreds of DOB-approved filings. If it scores lower, it does not ship. runenvelope.com

I’ve waited my whole life to see the Knicks raise a championship banner. Tonight, I get to celebrate my bday with my family and watch that banner go up at MSG. Doesn’t get any better than that. 🧡💙🏆 #NewYorkForever

Thank you @FirstAm. Hopefully this will open some people’s eyes…

Looks like that was short lived. NYC appealed, invoking a ‌stay that pauses what would have effectively required restarting the rollout of a surcharge on pricey pieds-à-terre. What a debacle... reuters.com/legal/government…
BIG NYC RE NEWS! NYC’s second home tax rollout just hit a major legal roadblock. A judge ordered the city to start over after homeowners challenged how properties were flagged. The ruling targets the rollout, the tax itself has not been struck down. nytimes.com/2026/09/29/nyreg…

What changes? NYC must cancel prior notices (~17K letters sent), replace its sweeping property list and send new notices explaining why each property qualifies. For owners, being flagged isn't proof you owe the tax. NYC is expected to seek a stay. Lets see how this plays oout.

3/5 If you attended a hearing and were found liable, an eligible judgment may be settled for 75% of the imposed penalty, with accrued interest waived.

4/5 Before you count on the savings, check whether the violation has been corrected. An approved Certificate of Correction is required; paying the judgment does not fix the underlying condition.

5/5 The City has not announced when the 90-day window will open. Now is a good time to review outstanding ECB judgments and get your correction paperwork in order. I will post more info as soon as it is available. Msg me if you need additional info.

2/5 If you missed an ECB hearing and received a default judgment, you may be able to settle it by paying only the base penalty. The default penalty and accrued interest would be waived.

Incredible article from @ALTAonline CEO Chris Morton below. Lots of interesting RE history inside. One thing is for sure, property rights are the backbone of successful economies. Hernando de Soto's " The Mystery of Capital" is a must read on this topic. housingwire.com/articles/pro…
