Our Flamingos have made history! I warmly congratulate Nigeria’s U-17 women’s team on their 2–1 victory over Japan to claim our first FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup title. Captain Harmony Chidi spoke of a dream that would make her teammates and country proud. Tonight, that dream belongs to every Nigerian. I salute her, her teammates, Coach Akeem Busari, and the entire technical and support staff for this unforgettable achievement. These young women remind us of what Nigerian talent can achieve when it is nurtured and given the opportunity to flourish. May their triumph inspire more girls to pursue their dreams with confidence and courage. Thank you, Flamingos, for giving our nation this moment of joy and unity. We are immensely proud of you. -AA

“You created poverty, then insult the people suffering from it. You attack my Affordable Life campaign, but the people you are really attacking are the millions of Nigerians desperate for relief from your failed leadership. “Bola, Nigerians have tested your leadership. The verdict is clear: you are a disaster. In Yoruba culture, I am told, a calabash of pepper represents hostile leadership, while a calabash of honey represents hospitable leadership. Yours is a calabash of pepper. “You say Nigeria will never return to subsidised petrol prices. You are wrong. By the grace of the Almighty and with the mandate of the Nigerian people, I will restore a transparent, production-based subsidy tied to the local refining of fuel. Nigerians will benefit directly through lower energy costs, including the prices of petrol and diesel. “My administration will make deliberate investments in social welfare and end the opaque system your government uses to divert money meant for economically vulnerable Nigerians. “You attack my campaign because you know what it represents: an alternative to the hardship you have imposed on the people. You want me off the ballot at all costs, but the will of the Nigerian people will prevail. I will be on that ballot, and I will beat you decisively. “After three and a half years in office, you have no achievements to campaign on. Your own record of failure is the strongest campaign against you. My Affordable Life campaign will not be silenced by your insults or your threats. I will lead Nigeria back to prosperity, growth and development.” Signed: Phrank Shaibu Director Strategic Communication, African Democratic Congress, Presidential Campaign Council. 7th November, 2026. @phrankangel @olusolasanni @royaltyuso @oluleasu

IN 1993, I LAID ABTI’S FOUNDATION; TINUBU FORFEITED $460,000 IN THE U.S. — ATIKU Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has condemned President Bola Tinubu’s latest attack on his investment in education, describing it as a desperate attempt to distract Nigerians from the failure of his administration. In a statement issued by the Director of Strategic Communication, Phrank Shaibu, Atiku said: “Again, Bola Tinubu has told Nigerians why they should not allow him to continue as president after his first tenure. He also chose to question my investment in education and ask how I built an educational institution while serving as Vice President. “The answer is simple: my investment in education predates my time in public service. In 1993, while a U.S. court ordered the forfeiture of funds in an account in your name, describing them as proceeds of narcotics trafficking or funds involved in unlawful financial transactions, I was laying the foundation for ABTI Academy. That Academy has since grown into the American University of Nigeria. “That moment captures the difference between us. My history is traceable. I can show Nigerians how I built my name, achieved success in business and entered public leadership. Your own history remains clumsy and foggy. You cannot erase it by attacking my record in education. “A president who has plunged the country into a crushing cost-of-living crisis has no business asking Nigerians for another mandate. The real conversation about the 2027 election is how to repair the damage your government has done. “You say Nigeria cannot return to subsidy and must move forward. But you cannot even tell Nigerians where you are taking them. Forward into deeper poverty, mounting debt, insecurity and mass unemployment? “Since your inauguration in 2023, your leadership has become synonymous with hardship, pain and despair. Your record is a working example of how a country should not be led. You have created poverty on an industrial scale, pushing more than 79 million Nigerians into extreme poverty. “Your campaign’s Director-General says hungry Nigerians are simply lazy. He delivered that statement in grammar so badly constructed it could wake the dead. This government does not even believe Nigerians are hungry. How can you solve a problem you refuse to acknowledge?

He betrayed Kofoworola Bucknor-Akerele, his first deputy governor in Lagos State. She was part of the political arrangement that brought him to power in 1999. Their relationship eventually collapsed over irreconcilable differences, and she resigned in 2002 He betrayed Rauf Aregbesola, one of his most consequential political associates. Aregbesola was instrumental to the political structure that sustained his influence across the Southwest. Yet, when the struggle over Osun’s political succession emerged, he backed Gboyega Oyetola, his preferred candidate and cousin, against the interests of Aregbesola. He betrayed the Christian stakeholders within his own political party. In 2015, he supported a Muslim-Christian presidential ticket, with Muhammadu Buhari and Yemi Osinbajo. In 2022, having secured the APC presidential nomination, he selected Kashim Shettima, another Muslim, as his running mate. He betrayed the expectations of Nigerians who voted for the APC in 2015. The party campaigned on change, security, economic recovery, anti-corruption and a promise to do things differently. Millions of Nigerians abandoned the PDP and entrusted the APC with their future. They were promised a government that would restore confidence in public institutions and improve living conditions. Today, Nigerians have every right to ask whether the promises that mobilised them were campaign instruments or genuine commitments. He betrayed Nigerians again in 2023. The APC campaigned on economic prosperity, renewed hope, improved security and a better standard of living. Nigerians were asked to endure sacrifices in anticipation of a better tomorrow. Subsidy removal came almost immediately after inauguration, followed by a dramatic depreciation of the naira, escalating food prices and a cost-of-living crisis. Whatever the arguments for economic reforms, the question remains: where was the corresponding preparation, cushioning and institutional capacity to protect ordinary Nigerians from the consequences? He betrayed the expectations of Nigerians on security. The APC came to power in 2015 partly because of the country’s deteriorating security situation. Buhari was elected on the promise that terrorism, insurgency and insecurity would be confronted decisively. Tinubu subsequently inherited the same national security challenge and promised to improve the situation. Yet Nigerians continue to contend with kidnapping, banditry, terrorism and violent attacks. Communities still mourn, families still negotiate for the release of abducted relatives, and farmers still struggle to return safely to their farms. His supporters call him T-pain, who exactly is this T-pain ?
He betrayed Atiku Abubakar in 2023, the same man who played a significant role in his emergence in 2019 and funded part of his election day expenses. He betrayed the coalition in 2019, a coalition of political veterans who sacrificed their personal ambitions to work for his emergence. Their decision came at a cost, not only to them but also to several down ballot candidates who were affected by the political arrangement. He betrayed Governor Ademola Adeleke in 2022. Despite the support Imole gave him in 2019, he went into the Adeleke family and backed a family member against Imole. What a remarkable display of political ingratitude. He betrayed Senator Hosea Agboola, a man who was instrumental to the PDP's popularity in Oke Ogun. He went as far as empowering political actors to challenge Halleluyah's authority in the region. They messed the easy going politician. He betrayed Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, his running mate in 2019. After benefiting from their joint political journey, he influenced the Oyo State House of Assembly to impeach the very man who served as his deputy. He betrayed Chief Bisi Ilaka and Engr. Joseph Tegbe. He sacrificed their political ambitions on the altar of his personal ambition, only to leave them out in the cold afterwards. What a pity. He betrayed Mukaila Lamidi Auxiliary. After using Auxiliary and his boys to intimidate and attack APC loyalists in the build up to the 2023 elections, he turned around and abandoned him to face the consequences, including sending him to Agodi. He betrayed Oriyomi Hamzat. This was a man who openly and passionately campaigned for his re-election in 2023. Yet, after victory was secured, Oriyomi suddenly became a political liability. He betrayed Engr. Dotun Sanusi. In both the 2019 and 2023 elections, Ilaji was instrumental to his political success. Just days before the 2023 election, after failing to honour an earlier commitment, he approached Ilaji privately to seek his support. Ilaji accepted his apology and worked for his re-election. But once victory came, the same Ilaji was discarded. He betrayed the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland and the entire Muslim community. Ahead of the 2023 election, he reportedly entered into an understanding with Muslim leaders that power would be handed over to a Muslim in 2027 if they supported him against another Muslim candidate in 2023. They trusted his words. Today, they are wondering what manner of man he is. He betrayed Adeniyi Rotimi Johnson, a loyal supporter dating back to their days in the SDP. After securing victory, he turned his back on a man who had stood by him and shut him out of his administration. Completely. He betrayed Theo Abu Agada. How? Story for another day. But Theo will never forgive him for running against his candidate after the inglorious Ibadan declaration. His supporters call him MAMBA. Who exactly is this MAMBA?

BOLA CANNOT USE THE COURTS TO ESCAPE THE PEOPLE’S VERDICT; WE ARE ON THE BALLOT — ATIKU Fellow Nigerians, Let no one mistake the latest court ruling for the will of the Nigerian people. No manipulation, conjecture or concoction can erase our place in this contest, silence our campaign or deny Nigerians the right to choose their future. We are on the ballot, and the people must be allowed to decide. Those who boast of having thirty-two governors and claim to have bought, pressured or coerced leaders from other parties into their fold should have no reason to fear a free and fair contest. Yet, instead of presenting their record to Nigerians, they continue to deploy every tactic available to weaken the opposition: political pressure, manufactured narratives, courtroom manoeuvres and attempts to compromise the voters’ register with AI-generated photographs, false names and fictitious identities. These are not the actions of people confident in their record. They are calculated attempts to make genuine competition impossible and push Nigeria towards a one-party state. And what record do they have to defend? This government removed the fuel subsidy overnight without a plan to protect Nigerians. It presided over the steep decline of the naira and allowed food prices to rise beyond the reach of ordinary families. Factories and small businesses have shut their doors. Our young people are leaving in search of hope, while bandits and kidnappers continue to hold communities hostage. Look around you. Market stalls stand empty. Feeding your family has become a daily struggle. Fuel prices keep rising, and silent pain fills homes across the country. Those in power may want you to believe that your suffering does not matter. They may want you to surrender your future before you even reach the ballot box. Do not lose heart. Do not retreat. Your vote is your power, and together, we will take our country back. Let me be clear to every Nigerian who has stood with us: I am in this race. I am not going anywhere. We will be on the ballot. No threat, blackmail or court manoeuvre will make me abandon you or the cause we share. We will resist with all our strength every attempt to turn Nigeria into a one-party state. Nigeria belongs to all its people. Our democracy must remain open to more than one party and more than one voice. If those in power believe in their numbers and their record, let us meet at the polls in a free, fair and credible contest. Our campaign will continue. Our message on the cost of living will not be silenced or derailed. Stay calm, united and resolute. Together, we will fight for a Nigeria where life is affordable and every citizen’s vote counts. Let me say this plainly: Bola cannot use the courts to escape the judgment of Nigerians at the ballot box. Atiku Abubakar Vice President of Nigeria, 1999–2007 Sokoto, Nigeria 6 November 2026

THE PANIC IS REAL — ATIKU. The Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has condemned Thursday’s court judgment purporting to remove Senator David Mark’s leadership of the party, describing it as a calculated attempt to weaken the ADC and frustrate his candidacy. In a statement issued by Phrank Shaibu, Director of Strategic Communication of the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, Atiku said the timing of the judgment was telling. It came barely a day after a mammoth crowd turned out in Sokoto to welcome him and attend the launch of the ADC campaign. “The people of Sokoto came out in their thousands because they are hungry for change and believe in our promise to make life affordable again. What we witnessed in Sokoto is only the beginning. The people of Kebbi will have their say, and so will Nigerians across the country as our campaign moves forward. “My roots are in Northern Nigeria, but my candidacy belongs to all Nigerians. There is a difference between being from the North and being a candidate only for the North. Hunger and hardship do not respect regional boundaries. Nigerians across the country are suffering under this government, and they deserve a leader with a credible plan to make life affordable again. “The timing of this judgment is no coincidence. It is part of a strategy to weaken my support in the North and frustrate a campaign whose message is resonating across the country. But the ruling party’s greatest miscalculation is to assume that my support ends in the North. What we saw in Sokoto, what we will see in Kebbi and across the country, is the strength of a national movement.” Atiku said the judgment also raises serious legal concerns. “Justice Musa Liman of the same Federal High Court had already dismissed the challenge to the David Mark-led leadership in Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/1637/2025. The court upheld the defendants’ objections on jurisdiction, standing and the failure to exhaust internal party remedies, and resolved the substantive issues in their favour. Why, after that judgment, was another case filed to reopen the same dispute? This is a calculated attempt to circumvent a subsisting judgment. We will challenge this judicial manoeuvre at the Court of Appeal.” Atiku urged ADC supporters to remain calm and law-abiding and not to let the judgment weaken the momentum generated in Sokoto. The campaign train is already in Kebbi and will continue across the country. “Our journey to rescue Nigeria from the hardship imposed by the APC government is a long one. Our Affordable Life campaign will continue because Nigerians deserve relief from this crushing cost-of-living crisis. We urge our supporters to remain resolute, take our message from house to house and door to door, and stay peaceful and focused. There is no shaking.” Signed: Phrank Shaibu Director of Strategic Communication ADC Presidential Campaign Council Birnin Kebbi 5th November 2026

Yes, my private law practice is starting to pay me well. But, I'm in the market for a remote job in technology compliance or venture capital so I can access active mentorship that complements my desire to build an impactful and transformatory career in the tech industry. Law is just a part of the onions. There are layers to this tech thing. The idea that an employer cannot be a student is a lie that makes many businesses small and prevent them from building bigger businesses, employing more people, and going public. You learn to grow.
One time I applied for a role so I can work with someone I've always admired. Passed first stage. Thank God! Second stage, I met number series. 6 questions in, MORE number series. What about the other competencies? Emotional intelligence, commercial awareness, risk assessment, and the like? No show. MORE number series. Time was not on my side. I started guessing. If not for @themmanuelfaith, I would easily believe most HR professionals are hell-sent.

Sokoto today! Who must go?
SOKOTO CROWD REJECTS TINUBU’S HARDSHIP, EMBRACES ATIKU’S AFFORDABILITY AGENDA — ADC The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Campaign Council has described the overwhelming reception accorded to its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in Sokoto on Wednesday as a powerful expression of public anger with the Tinubu administration and growing support for the ADC’s promise to make life affordable again. The ADC campaign train was flagged off in Sokoto amid a mammoth crowd that lined the route from Sultan Muhammad III International Airport to the party’s state secretariat. The motorcade took three and a half hours to reach the rally venue as men and women, young and old, including mothers, gathered to welcome and accompany Atiku. In several parts of the city, work came to a standstill. People left their offices and abandoned their daily activities to join the procession and attend the rally. This was not a crowd assembled by inducement. It was a spontaneous turnout by Nigerians who are struggling with the cost of food, transport, fuel and other basic necessities. The attempts to frustrate the rally only deepened public resentment. The Sokoto State Government denied the ADC access to public facilities requested for the campaign flag-off, while obstacles were placed in the path of the party’s legitimate campaign activities. The federal government and its APC allies should understand that denying people a venue cannot suppress their political choices. In Sokoto, those efforts backfired: the people came out in even greater numbers and made their voices heard. At the rally, Atiku reaffirmed his commitment to tackling the cost-of-living crisis and restoring hope to households and businesses. His plan includes a targeted, production-based subsidy for qualifying petroleum products refined in Nigeria. By tying support to domestic production, the policy will help bring down the cost of fuel and ease the pressure that high transport and energy costs place on food prices and family budgets. The ADC’s message is clear: Nigerians deserve a government that makes life more affordable, supports local production and responds to the hardship people face every day. When you have a message that connects with the people, you do not need to rent a crowd. The people show up on their own. Signed, Phrank Shaibu Director of Strategic Communication ADC Presidential Campaign Council. 4th November, 2026

Choosing to start the ADC campaign in Sokoto State is a matter of building from strength to strength into victory. Atiku won the state in 2023 with 288,679 votes to Bola Tinubu’s 285,444. Obi/Kwankwaso polled a combined 7,868 for LP/NNPP. 471 PUs were cancelled with about 250k voters. To win in 2027, the margins from our strongholds must be maximised with voter turnout and rigging deterrents. #AtikuInSokoto 💪🏽💪🏽
