I wanted to be able to find something good in Islam, because we’ve all been told for the last 25 years that it’s this wonderful religion being twisted by extremists, but that’s just not true and once you admit that to yourself it’s very freeing.
Islam is, objectively, a _terrible_ religion, with a two-tier system of morality that treats Muslims well and everyone else badly. And that’s before you even mention the barbarous treatment of women, which is damning enough on its own to condemn the whole thing, even if the rest of it had value. But it doesn’t. Jihad — war — is one of the five pillars, ffs.
Islam condones slavery, forced marriage, domestic violence, the rape of children, and the genital mutilation of women and girls. The countries where it holds sway are horrible places to live, especially for women, and the more devout the country is, the worse it is to live there. Even places like Turkey, which is officially secular, have young girls sold into marriage with adult men, and incredibly high rates of femicide and domestic violence. In countries like Yemen and Afghanistan, up to 30% of girls are sold into marriage as children — and these customs are being imported into the West.
Islam offers Muslim men full control over Muslim women. It offers Muslim women nothing but the chance to bear the next generation of Muslim men.

A popular Palestinian Islamic preacher on Arab TV explained why they hate the West and want to destroy Europe, kill the men, and enslave white women and girls.
Sheikh Yousef Makharzah on Al-Waqiyah TV calls white Europeans a deadly disease and threat to humanity. He says white European non-Muslims enjoy too much freedom instead of Sharia and Islam. According to him, women’s freedom is poison that drives them sexually insane. In Europe, many men, women, and girls rape dogs and farm animals because they lack Islam and Sharia law.
He calls women’s rights a “libertine, whoring” civilization that dragged mankind into bestiality.
Listen to what they say when the West isn’t watching. The contempt is total. European women are fair game. Their freedom proves they need domination.

"Sensible legislation" gives you power to control gun ownership. A direct challenge to the constitution and the same crack the left always uses to sneak into a field and regulate it to death. The pattern is well established.

The right to choose to abort 300 million children worldwide, 99% of which were terminated for being inconvenient? Is that the choice you mean? That women should not only be able to do this with impunity but be proud of it and brag about it? A very dark hill to stand on.

There is no such thing as reformed Islam. There are individual Muslims or Islamic nations that decide to water down the canonical teachings of Islam. But there is only Islam.
To be fair, there's only Islam and there's reformed Islam (UAE).
Reformed Islam is not great but still miles ahead of Islam. Hopefully they'll continue to move forward, continue to reject negatives of Islam keep the positives and set an example for the rest of Islam.
Reformed Islam is currently where Christianity was half a millennium ago. Hopefully, it'll have a similar trajectory to Christianity.

This will very likely offend a lot of people. That isn’t the point of why I wrote this. The point is that a divided society has already lost the habit of owning its own condition. Even though I’m not really attacking anyone, most readers will treat the following as an attack on their side instead of a description of a shared failure. That reaction is part of the evidence. So here goes…
America is sick. It’s a behemoth with a disease, and every American owns a piece of what it’s become.
It’s easy to blame immigration or spending or the other party. Half the country votes for the policies that accelerate the rot. The other half votes against them. If half the body has cancer, the body is still dying.
Both sides talk about the education system. Neither has fixed it. Republican presidents didn’t fix it. Democrat presidents didn’t fix it. Everyone complains. Nobody has simply cut out the parts that no longer function.
You have large numbers of Americans who openly despise the country. Yet half the electorate keeps putting them in power. That’s not a messaging problem. That’s a society that has already lost the ability to maintain itself.
While the two halves scream at each other, other forces expand. The division isn’t the main event. It’s the condition that lets everything else advance unopposed.
Whoever wins the house and senate on Tuesday, or the White House in 2028, or in 2032, inherits the same sick body. Elections rearrange the management of the symptoms, but they don’t remove the disease. The country will keep weakening until something else finishes it. It’s like the cancer patient who doesn’t die of the tumor but of the pneumonia that the tumor made inevitable.
The same pattern runs through the rest of the West. That’s why organized terrorism and ideological capture move so easily. Blaming Jews and Israel gives people a convenient explanation that requires no self-examination. Israel absorbs the cost of that distraction. The cost itself shows that the blame is misplaced. Meanwhile the networks that do actually intend to replace the existing order keep expanding, because the host is too busy accusing itself to notice.
It almost doesn’t matter who wins the midterms or 2028. The result will still be a divided, decaying society that has become its own cancer. I see that same cancer today in Israel too. The election changes the rate of decline. It doesn’t change the direction. What America needs desperately is a strong leader who will unite everyone, or at least the vast majority. As someone sitting on the outside, I can probably say three, maybe four people fit that description. Will the people vote them in to really fix things is an unknown. We can only hope.

This bill would clarify the legal standard for self-defence to add a clear presumption that when someone knowingly and unlawfully enters your home, the force you thought necessary to defend yourself and your family is presumed to be reasonable, unless the facts show otherwise.
Your home should be your safe place, not the place where the law turns against you for protecting the people you love.

Speaking of demons only using words to deceive humans, a question for my long time followers-when have I ever said my career was destroyed?
On the contrary, I am rather open about my continued success and the reason for this is two fold.
First (and I’ve talked about this in the marketing episodes of WriterDojo) success breeds success. In all businesses people are more inclined to do business with someone they perceive as doing well than someone they think is doing poorly. This is why salesmen arrive in nice cars and wear expensive shoes.
In the same way new readers are inclined to check out authors who are having fun and selling books. If you are a woe is me, pity party, how come nobody buys my books, that’s the desperation stink kiss of death. That’s anti marketing.
Second, and far more importantly for me personally, when you are a conservative working in a liberal industry, nothing infuriates them more than you being successful despite their best efforts to keep you down.
Looking back most of the assholes who’ve came at me over the years, or pronounced my career “irreparably damaged” (usually for upsetting liberals somehow) they’re gone. They’re washed. Forgotten. (A bunch of them got Hash Tag Me Tooed, which is extra hilarious)
And I just keep on doing my thing. 😄
That last part? Money is nice but spite is AMAZING. 😄
