The City of Toledo has issued an updated emergency announcement with new information about the chemical release.
🔴 Important developments
1. Source of chemical release clarified
The City now identifies MC Tank Terminal, 1266 Progress Avenue, as the location of the hazardous materials release. Earlier reports associated the incident with 1050 Progress Avenue.

City officials scheduled a news conference for 7:30 a.m. to provide additional information.
The chemical release remains active according to the City's latest announcement.
