344 firefighters lost their lives in New York on 11 September, 2001. A further 220 have died of related illnesses in the 23 years since.
Today we join the fire services community and people across the world in remembering all those who so tragically lost their lives on that day.

Had the whole clan over today for a BBQ. So difficult and rare to get us all together, as most are 999 shift workers 🚒 🚑 🚔
Great day ❤️

What a lovely surprise. I’ve just met my very dear friend @P_T_George for breakfast and he presented me with an amazing retirement present. It shows all the fire stations I’ve served at and was hand drawn by his son, the fabulously talented FF Tom George jnr! Thank you so much ❤️

I've had these wonderful drawings from @TomGeoStudio of Dockhead, past and present for a while now but for various reasons I never got round to getting them displayed nor framed, until today with much surprise from my family! Thank you and thank you again Tom, they're amazing! 🎄
