I was sat behind the goal in the Canton for that game. On the night, it really felt like the catalyst for all that came in the few years that followed. He allowed us all to dream, magic.
A serving Labour peer taking a senior job at Palantir, just as the government faces pressure over the company’s role in the British state and calls for greater AI regulation.
After six wonderful years at UK Music, I'm joining Palantir UK as Senior Vice President.
Palantir is the most interesting company on the planet, doing work of real consequence: helping Britain and its allies defend themselves, helping police protect our citizens and helping NHS staff get patients treated and home sooner.
London is comfortably its largest centre outside the US, home to more than one in six employees, the highest proportion among the world's largest technology companies.
We have challenges. Some criticism is propaganda. Some raises legitimate questions about large technology companies and sovereign control. Both require answers.
Part of my role will be to correct false information while working with our engineers to ensure privacy, security and respect for sovereignty are at the heart of everything we do.

Jason Arday wasn't the first academic to be accused of plagiarism at Cambridge. He wasn't the first person to have made implausible claims about his life in an autobiography.
But he was the first where those things became a front-page story, across multiple papers, for days and days.
Having seen the sort of stuff Swansea and Grimsby have done for their new kit launches, this is more than disappointing. Even more so knowing this is what we’ll potentially be wearing at our home Euros in 2028. Surely Hummel or Lotto were available??
🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham does not plan to wear a shirt and tie as Prime Minister unless he's in the Commons

If the USA pull off the impossible by winning the World Cup, Mauricio Pochettino will be portrayed by Russell Crowe in the inevitable Hollywood adaptation.
Agree with every single word @IanWright0 says here. Did have to watch it twice though because I was completely distracted by how beautiful that Colombia shirt is.
Deep down, you can tell he's a genuinely good fella. The way he handled everything that happened off the pitch during the summer was excellent, and that first season was unbelievable. It's sad how it all ended, but he'll always be remembered for delivering that league title.

Is there any grown up in the White House? Is there any understanding of the seriousness and horror of war? This is frat house not White House.

Remember a few weeks ago when Reform UK threatened to defund Bangor University in the name of "free speech" because some students refused to do an event with them?
Well despite repeated requests, Reform are not allowing me to attend their manifesto launch.
In the last week I have attended events and asked questions of the leaders of Plaid Cymru, Labour and the Conservatives. But Reform won't allow it.
The restriction of bonafide journalists from providing legitimate scrutiny is straight from the Trump playbook.
It shows a total contempt for free speech and democracy when political parties restrict journalists they fear will challenge them.
If they are willing to do this when they are in opposition, imagine what they will be like if they have all the levers of the state behind them.
