To the Americans:
I've travelled all over the world. I've familiarized myself with many places, and met many people. And I'm a Canadian, although I’m privileged to reside once again in the States.
And here's something I've noticed, and it’s a key element of America's continuing greatness:
You bloody Americans value success, and you believe in its existence.
This is something that doesn't really happen anywhere else in the world. Even in other free democracies—the United Kingdom; Finland, Sweden, and Norway; Australia, New Zealand and Canada; Germany, France, and the Netherlands (great countries all)—a counterproductive cynicism too often reigns.
Success is equated with exploitation.
Ambition is looked upon with contempt.
This happens sometimes in the United States too—particularly among the miserable progressives, who confuse their resentment, ingratitude and unearned skepticism with wisdom.
But in your great country, by and large, striving is admired and success celebrated.
This means that more people strive and succeed in the US than anywhere else. And it's increasingly obvious. You remain stunningly more innovative and productive than any people anywhere else on the planet.
And so I say, as all should who are fortunate enough to live in the western world, let alone America:
Thank God for the United States.
Thank God for the wisdom of its founders.
Thank God for its faith in the free market and in the natural rights of man.
Happy birthday, you damn Yankees and Southerners.
Long may your admirable country dominate the world.
Long may your freedom and hope provide an example to those suffering everywhere at the hands of their malevolent states.
May your two and a half centuries of unparallelled success be just the beginning.
Your country is the light of the world, and the city on the hill.
Thank God for the USA.
Happy 250th.

Alberta is keen to work with the federal government to reset our relationship and repair the damage to Alberta’s economy that has been caused by Ottawa’s last 10 years of anti-resource legislation and policies. During my first meeting with the Prime Minister just over a week ago, we spoke at length about the policies and legislation that are holding back Alberta’s economy and he made it clear that he intended to rapidly advance national building projects in the coming weeks and months.
Following this meeting, I gave the Prime Minister the benefit of the doubt. We wanted to see whether he would take decisive and meaningful action to repair the relationship between Alberta and Ottawa or if this was just more hollow rhetoric that Albertans have become accustomed to.
Now that Prime Minister @MarkJCarney has appointed his new cabinet, we got our first glimpse into what we can expect from his ‘new’ Liberal government.
I am very concerned the Prime Minister has appointed what appears to be yet another anti-oil and gas Environment Minister, Julie Dabrusin @juliedabrusin . Not only is she a self-proclaimed architect of the designation of plastics as toxic, but she is a staunch advocate against oil sands expansion, proponent of phasing out oil and gas, and for the last four years she has served as the right hand to former Environment Minister and militant environmentalist, @s_guilbeault.
For over a decade, Alberta has suffered under the anti-development and anti-resource policies of successive Liberal governments that have threatened our livelihoods, landlocked our resources, and targeted our industries. Now, we are being forced to contend with yet another ‘keep it in the ground’ Environment Minister.
This is a step in the wrong direction. I will continue to do everything in my power to negotiate a fair deal for Alberta with the new Prime Minister.
Albertans will not stand for the status quo from Ottawa. If the Prime Minister is serious about resetting the relationship between Ottawa and Alberta then we need meaningful action now, not more of the same. I call on the new Environment Minister to support Alberta’s energy industry and work towards increasing production and market access for our resources.

I didn’t lose any money in the stock market because I didn’t sell anything. The decline does not make me happy. I like the potential for selling more, and my paper losses are… considerable …
But several things are clear to me.
First, the stock market was overvalued and a correction was coming. You can tell because it lost 3000 points in two days. It indicates to me the values were soft. I note that a significant number of Americans have no stake in the stock market. Many who do, like me, have been through this before. What goes down always goes up. The question is, will it go up before November 2026…
Second, it’s very clear we need to restructure our economy and that couldn’t happen without somebody suffering pain. We can’t maintain the same trade relationships we have had for 80 years. It’s caused too much damage to Americans who only Donald Trump listens to. Plus, the national debt is going to destroy our country unless we get it under control. This is part of that. I know people are getting hurt by the disruption, but that’s why they call it a disruption. Guys like me did very well as the market inflated. It’s no surprise that we’re going to have to carry some of the load here.
Third, I trust Trump because he’s performed before and because he has an enormous interest in the economy doing well over time. If it doesn’t, he loses power. If he gets out of office and there’s no Republican legacy, they will come after him and his family. He understands its life and death, since they try to imprison him for the rest of his life and murder him before. So, this is a guy with incentive. It doesn’t mean he’s not crazy, but that seems remote. Still, he could be wrong.
Fourth, I’ve got zero faith in the experts who keep telling me this is a disaster. They might be right. If they do turn out to be right, it will be literally the first time they were right about any major question in the realm of economics, culture or foreign policy in about 30 years. The establishment is greedy, incompetent and corrupt. It’s track record proves it. So, when the establishment cries, I ignore it. There are people I respect who are very unhappy. I’m paying attention to them and considering their points of view. But for now, I think Trump’s going to come out ahead.
In any case, that’s where I am. I haven’t sold anything. I don’t intend to. And if I have to make a bet – which I’m kind of doing – it’s on the economy getting better over time.

You may notice I don’t call Joseph Biden “Joe,” because he’s not America’s kindly old uncle, nor is he America’s friend. He is a two-faced, corrupt, self-serving political hack. With his bagman, crackhead son, Joseph Biden has drained America like a vampire for half a century.

Americans can’t vote in Venezuelan elections.
Venezuelans shouldn’t vote in U.S. elections.
Current law makes it easy for Venezuelans—and people from every other country—to vote here.
The SAVE Act would fix that.
It must pass immediately.

Dr. Patrick Moore, co-founder of Greenpeace: "There are three things you need to know to know that [the climate crisis] is false."
"First, it is not too hot now. It is one of the coldest periods in the history of the Earth."
"Second, CO2 is lower now in the atmosphere than it has been throughout nearly the entire history of the Earth."
"The third thing you need to know is that all the CO2 that we are putting into the atmosphere, where did it come from? How did it get in the fossil fuels? By plants pulling it out of the atmosphere, and the oceans. The plankton in the sea, the vegetation on the land, turned into coal, oil and gas."
"So all we're doing is replacing carbon dioxide... If there wasn't enough CO2 for the plants, we would all die too... We are replenishing the CO2 to a much better level than it had gone down to. We are the actual salvation of life on Earth."

This is worth emphasizing. Illegal immigration is stealing the right to vote away from American citizens. It devalues your vote by devaluing your congressional representation.

How incredible is this?
“The famous Italian diver Enzo Maiorca dove into the sea of Syracuse and was talking to his daughter Rossana who was aboard the boat. Ready to go in, he felt something slightly hit his back.
He turned and saw a dolphin. Then he realized that the dolphin did not want to play but to express something. The animal dove and Enzo followed.
At a depth of about 12 meters, trapped in an abandoned net, there was another dolphin. Enzo quickly asked his daughter to grab the diving knives.
Soon, the two of them managed to free the dolphin, which, at the end of the ordeal, emerged, issued an "almost human cry" (describes Enzo). (A dolphin can stay under water for up to 10 minutes, then it drowns.)
The released dolphin was helped to the surface by Enzo, Rosana and the other dolphin. That’s when the surprise came: she was pregnant!
The male circled them, and then stopped in front of Enzo, touched his cheek (like a kiss), in a gesture of gratitude and then they both swam off.
Enzo Maiorca ended his speech by saying: “Until man learns to respect and speak to the animal world, he can never know his true role on Earth.”
