I've been wearing my new biometric @ouraring in lieu of my wedding band for a week now, and it's truly amazing. The health data and advice that it (gently) provides in the accompanying app is both helpful and inspirational. Can't wait until they make a version with an NFC chip!
I'm 2 1/2 years late to the party, but I'm just now reading "The Inevitable" by @kevin2kelly. While the future has infinite possible outcomes, this book demonstrates that some developments are, indeed, inevitable. Embrace those trends and prosper.
It's a great read too!
Good advice for a New Year. I resolve *to attempt* to improve my diet.
If you’re following me, you’ll know there’s a paradigm shift happening in the aging field. What and when we eat affects the body’s clock and the body clock affects the rate we age. Here the latest: nytimes.com/2020/12/10/well/…
5 days ago, I bought 3 weeks of food for my family. Needed to go back to the grocery store tonight. Where do these teenagers put the food?? 🤔 #StayHome
Seems like a coordinated global response to crises like #coronavirus and #climatechange would work better than a 195 national responses. Just sayin'.

Another way that the pandemic resembles the climate problem in fast forward: a global response is called for. Individual countries can't fully control this.
As a Canadian I worry more about US response than about Canadian response.
Thank you, Captain Obvious. #COVIDー19
Senior citizens with underlying health conditions should avoid activities such as a cruise amid the coronavirus outbreak, VP Mike Pence says trib.al/FdJXRz3
Ummm, I didn't appreciate the depth of the #coronavirus fears until I went to Costco today. No water or toilet paper in stock. I've never seen that before.
Deniers of of human-induced #ClimateChange just lost another dubious talking point. Not sure if they have any left.

It's all well and good to say that #ArtificialIntelligence needs to be explainable, but once machine learning is set in motion, it's hard to know what, exactly, it has learned in order to make decisions. Kudos to the Pope, though, for studying the issue.

Leader so far in the debate? The person behind @MikeBloomberg's twitter account. Landing more punches in real time than the candidates.

Missing @AndrewYang on the stage in this #DemDebate. I appreciated his determination to solve the problems of tomorrow (many of them tech-related), while also addressing the issues of today. Looking forward to his announcement in March as to what’s next for him and the #yanggang
Just attended a speech by @PeterDiamandis in Boston on how technology will advance more in the next 10 years than we can imagine. Super grateful for the work he's doing and glad he's out with another book. Great reading! #tech

My question for Tuesday's #DemDebate: Rising ocean levels from climate change pose an existential threat to low-lying areas like the SC Lowcountry. As President, how will you ensure that the US gov increases green-tech R&D to prevent the flooding of cities like Charleston?
Tires that self-repair and change tread design on the fly? @goodyear is pushing boundaries. So cool. #technology #ArtificialIntelligence #cars

Note to politicians: While AI has many beneficial applications, the AI-generated 'risk reports' detailed in this article remind me of the much-discredited 'stop and frisk' programs. Careful. #ArtificialIntelligence
