Big shout out to @canva. I wanted to make some instructional maths videos for A-Level via screen recording this week and with a work controlled laptop struggled to find software to do this. THEN a Google search brought up Canva as a solution and what a solution it is. 1/2
Not only can you easily screen record, the time limit is huge, the editing options are great so I can do one question at a time and then easily merge together. I can download quickly, for free, in great quality. AND the app seems to have managed to install on my laptop without
Hi Apple TV. Please buy up The OA and sort out season 3. You're doing such a great job on the Sci fi stuff, you're the last hope.

I built a website for the beloved Netflix series The OA, which was canceled in 2019. The data was scraped from TikTok using @apify.

After seven years of waiting, it looks like Season 3 could finally premiere on November 16.

I wish you’d said something like:
Focusing on academic outcomes has been important for all children and schools have done amazing work . Now we want to broaden the KS4 offer with a wider range of technical programs and quals because many learners will value earlier preparation for vocational progression routes.
Don’t immediately link tech quals to those ‘left behind’ - deficit thinking majorly unhelpful. Just feeds the idiotic ‘dumbing down’ brigade.
Don’t call it a revolution unless you’re investing in more tech facilities .. otherwise likelihood is we get more schools offering H&SC and L&T because they are classroom based / not engineering or construction. Unless you’re expanding 14-16 places at colleges which will also need funding . Probably it’s a sensible and relatively small shift in KS4 provision.
We must recognise that an over‑focus on academic outcomes has left too many young people behind.
The revolution happening in post‑16 technical and vocational education will soon be matched for 14 to 16‑year‑olds.
I look forward to making it happen.
