駐日トンガ王国大使館 Tonga Embassy Tokyo (TET)

Pacific Island Countries Ambassador’s Group (PICAG) in Tokyo welcomed Senior Officials from the Forum Troika Members - Tonga, Solomon Islands and Palau - on the eve of the Japan - Pacific Islands Forum Kizuna Talanoa (10-12 March 2026). The gathering provided an opportunity for the Pacific Ambassadors to brief visiting delegations on their ongoing engagements with Japan, as well as emerging opportunities ahead of preparations for the PALM Ministerial Interim Meeting (MIM) and the PALM11. As an outcome, Ambassadors welcomed the prospect of continued exchanges and briefings with the PIF Secretariat, particluarly in light of the high-level engagements anticipated later this year and leading towards the Leaders’ PALM in 2027.
