The Messina-Calabria Earthquake, Dec 28, 1908. Took the lives of 100,000 in Southern Italy including Guitano and Guiseppina DiPietro and all but one of the children. The lone survivor, Giuseppe DiPietro, pulled from rubble, the first of my family to come to the USA years later.

Good news, indeed, and deserves a signal-boost given how many times people re-tweeted scary headlines about "re-infection" and so forth. (Though, note that this doesn't say much either way about how long immunity lasts, just that it's very likely to exist in the short run.)
There had been concern that people with mild or asymptomatic cases of Covid-19 might not produce antibodies. Good news: New research suggests that most everyone does make antibodies, and at levels likely to confer some immunity. nyti.ms/3dvmlj3
