Osi Umenyiora reveals how the Giants exposed āthe greatest quarterback ever, supposedly,ā Tom Brady, by decoding his snap count before Super Bowl XLII
Umenyiora says he noticed Brady pointing at a specific defender before signaling the center to snap the ball. After studying game footage for a week, he became convinced the pattern was consistent and shared his discovery with the entire Giants defense. That preparation gave New Yorkās defensive line a crucial advantage, helping them sack Brady five times and hit him around 20 times in the upset victory over the previously undefeated Patriots. Umenyiora says the Giants entered the game believing they could win because they had uncovered something their opponents did not know they had figured out.

During a halftime ceremony at today's exhibition, Thad Matta emotionally revealed that former Ohio State player JJ Sullinger recently donated his kidney to teammate Terence Dials, who is now the Buckeyes' recruiting coordinator:
"The greatest thing I've ever seen in my coaching career."
Well done as usual, @BFQuinn. Great and heartfelt read.
The Philadelphia Big Five died (again). And it sucks. And I'm sorry if you can relate.

My favorite Dale Brown story. I was a Graduate student at Ole Miss, and was a big Dale Brown fan. My college roommate and I were sitting around one day, and talking about attending the Rebels game in Oxford that night against the Tigers. We impulsively decided weād like to meet Coach Brown. We didnāt know where his team was staying, but in Oxford, there werenāt many hotel choices. So we drove to the Holiday Inn on a whim, and sure enough, LSU was there. Got his room number from the front desk, and just went and knocked on his room door. He answered, and he couldnāt have been nicer. We shook his hand, wished him luck, and started to leave. He excuses himself, goes back into his room, and reappears with a ticket for each of us for the game that night. Right smack behind the LSU bench. That was Dale Brown.

Steve Donahue was thinking about his ābackcourt mateā Bob Nelson at the annual Coaches vs Cancer luncheon.
Donahue, now 64, played basketball alongside Nelson at Cardinal OāHara High School. Nelson passed away from the disease in his mid-30s.
āI always thought of cancer as an old personās thing,ā Donahue said. āSo naive at that age ⦠I just think now, I think the same person gets that diagnosis, the research and all the things that have gone into it, the prognosis is way better because of events like this.ā

I'm guessing Chase Bad Bear's last name may have something to do with his heritage but I'm going to believe that his parents were just big fans of The Great Outdoors. #BigBear #BigBearChaseMe
