Have to say this is brilliant from @Sjopinion10 shuts down the "well you cant blame the Manchester Uniteds & Arsenals for FFP" perfectly. Need more people with the balls to call out the Premier League for what it is, a cartel. The Super League but by a different name. #nufc #avfc

I thought he was joking to make his point. Didn't actually mean specifically that. Also a bit strange the club taking him to court over the comments. But what it did show is the arrogance and bias in his thinking. Hopefully it all highlights the injustice in the rules.
Aston Villa have announced plans to initiate legal action against pundit Jamie Carragher for his “unacceptable insults” about the club. Villa released a statement signed off by chairman Nassef Sawiris on Friday on their social media. nyti.ms/4zpraFc

The official attendance figures from Sunderland's game last night have come in at 7,984 - which includes the travelling away Brentford fans... To put this figure into perspective, and to get ahead of the 'it's a cup game' comments, their northern co-part Newcastle are set to bring 8,000 fans down the country tonight to Everton to watch their team play in the same round of the exact same cup.. For a club that gets a lot of stick for their poor fanbase over the past few years, they really do absolutely nothing to help themselves... 🤦🏼‍♂️
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Official Attendance was 24,305. bbc.co.uk/sport/football…

Bruno should have made his super agent take the pen for him. Normally makes him do all his dirty work doesn't he.

The craziest part of the Tesla Roadster event is when @elonmusk begged to attend Jeffrey Epstein's "wildest parties" over email. (Multiple times)

Sorry but the sight of Murphy walking slowly back at 45mins when Coventry had turned the ball over has sent me off the edge. I wouldnt have minded but he was 20yrds behind the Newcastle attack when it broke down!

🗣 'A popular goal in the away end... but not necessarily a popular goal in the country!' You sure @GNev2? There's a good chunk of neutrals not cheering for #lfc or PL 'elite' vs #mcfc... 😬 Bit on @SkySportsPL strange coverage of a surreal day 👇 inews.co.uk/sport/football/m…

All of a sudden, you found your keyboard again when it’s a defensive post about the Man city 114 charges, after spending the whole of yesterday telling people you don’t post about non-transfer-related stuff. Fabrizio, you’ve exposed yourself as a PR machine for illicit organisations. People will never look at you with the same eyes again after this. Your entire reputation and moral standing have been tarnished.
🚨 Official: Manchester City Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak statement. “I have been part of this Club for 18 years. I have had the privilege to stand with you in the Etihad, at Wembley, and in Istanbul. This Club matters to me, and you have shown and told me – time and time again - how much Manchester City matters to you. This is why I am writing to you today”. “Following Friday’s media reporting, many of you will have spent your evening answering questions and responding to messages from friends, family and colleagues. So have I”. “Here’s what I said to my family: The Premier League process still has a long way to run, and our confidence and intent in proving the Club’s innocence is just as strong as when this began”. “There are so many things that I would like to be able to share with you to help you understand why we feel so confident in our position. But the strict confidentiality of the legal process and our determination to respect it means I cannot do that at the moment. Even this letter underwent several legal checks to make sure it complies”. “I ask you to please carefully read the statement below, which we gave on Friday, and the statement we issued in February 2023 (also below). Every word matters and holds true”. “While some people have been quick to reach their own conclusions, and there is so much noise swirling around us, nothing has changed. We have faced challenges together before and have prevailed. There remain many who want to undermine the momentum of our Club. We will not give them that opportunity”. “We have some exciting moments to look forward to after this international break.  We travel to Anfield in a fortnight, and then host Paris St Germain in the Champions League back at Etihad Stadium - moments that give us an opportunity to celebrate the strength of the Manchester City family”. “Thank you, as always, for your constant support. Khaldoon Al Mubarak”.

Spurs “Will take time” Villa “Brand new team, will take time” Man Utd “poor transfer window, will take time” #NUFC “should be better by now and could go down” Media rhetoric this season has been genuinely strange

I know its was nervous times but if you are lucky enough to be in the ground then stop pissing & moaning & make some noise. The only thing you can do to affect the players & game is get behind the team. The groans just made it worse for the team. Loosing Steur knacked us big time

16 yr old Mezian Mesloub for Lens. Plays RW / ACM Looks like a real talent. NUFC should be looking for exactly this profile of player
Mezian Mesloub came on with 30 minutes to play and transformed the game for Lens. 16-year-olds aren't meant to be this good... xitter.gq/Compswimt/status/20981…

A lot of juice was squeezed out of it! Weirdly I sat next to him on flight back from La Manga and he said he was ignoring it all. That was August 5 I think - was being pushed up to August 30 🤷‍♂️

If you take anything from the Ross Wilson interview its that Bruno truly is a RAT. NUFC captains who love the club dont hire super agents. "We did not want to lose Bruno Guimaraes. That was really disappointing that we got to that place in the end. That was not part of our plan"
