Also fun fact but Min is actually the only inkling oc I have that isn’t a member of the family Ommastrephidae! All my other inklings are flying squids (ommastrephids). However she is a Thysanoteuthid which makes her a Cranchioid like the others

The problem is, due to the fact that Min is so used to people looking up to her, she tends to assume that she’s always the smartest and most mature person in the room. She can be a little bit patronizing to others due to thinking that she’s always the more knowledgeable one.

Min is incredibly self assured and confident in her abilities. To the point where she sometimes forgets she’s even capable of making mistakes. Ironically, Min tends to get injured every so often due to accidents. Nothing major, except for the accident that took 2 of her fingers.

Sometimes i remember i literally took a college course on dinosaur biology/history in my sophomore year which does make me think i should try and incorporate more of that into my characters like i do with squid knowledge. None of my ocs are dinosaurs though lol..

Iota is fairly “old school” I suppose. Iota’s weapon of choice is a Splatoon 1 slosher (she managed to keep hers with the Og kit, but wouldn’t use ink strikes anyways).

Also also Iota is a Humboldt squid (Dosidicus gigas)! These guys are also known as the jumbo flying squid and they’re the largest member of the flying squid family.
