DAY 101. WILL TRISTAN TATE STAY IN FDC MIAMI?
Short answer: bail is very hard to get in extradition cases. On Sep 9, Magistrate Judge Lauren Louis denied bail for Tristan. The law says release needs "special circumstances."
There is one open door. On Oct 7, the Tates filed a habeas petition asking a second judge, Judge Melissa Damian, to order release. DOJ answered on Oct 23. There is no ruling yet.
On Oct 26, DOJ filed its brief in Tristan's extradition case. It asks the judge to approve sending him to the UK. It says the UK evidence shows probable cause. That is not a finding of guilt. The judge does not decide guilt.
What is next:
Nov 9: the defense responds.
Nov 16: DOJ replies.
Nov 20, 10 AM: Tristan's hearing in Miami.
If the judge approves, the case goes to the Secretary of State, who decides on surrender. The defense can challenge that in court with habeas.
This is the government's side only. Both deny all charges.

If Irina is the same person described as a minor in Tate’s prosecution packet, WHO VERIFIED HER AGE?

And what did those 13 days accomplish?
