Dear @ngxgrp,
I think it is quite disappointing that the Corporate Disclosures page on your website has remained unresponsive for over three months.
This issue has been raised repeatedly by market participants. About two months ago, the Group CEO @TemiPopoola_, indicated that the problem had been resolved. Unfortunately, the situation remains unchanged.
Companies have until the end of this week to file their Q3 2026 financial reports, yet investors are being forced to rely on the website's mobile version to access these disclosures. This is unnecessarily cumbersome, particularly for those who need to download, review and analyse financial reports.
Corporate disclosures are fundamental to market transparency, information accessibility and investor confidence. Ensuring that investors can access them seamlessly should be one of the Exchange's most basic responsibilities.
Is this really such a difficult technical issue that it requires more than an entire quarter to resolve?
I believe investors deserve better. At the very least, the NGX should provide a clear explanation for the prolonged disruption and a definite timeline for resolving it.
This is simply not good enough for an Exchange of NGX's standing.

I typed this tweet yesterday after seeing @inecnigeriaâs response to the shambolic votersâ register they released. I deleted it several times because, honestly, I was angry, embarrassed and TOTALLY DISGUSTED by that response.
You people have embarrassed ALL of us with that shoddy, incompetent register you released.
Something an IT student should be embarrassed to submit, and you had the effrontery to issue a rejoinder saying it was just a âPreliminary Registerâ, that you were still carrying out âongoing data-cleanup activitiesâ and that you were âexamining the circumstances surrounding the suspicious photographs, including possible technical or procedural lapses, and will take appropriate action based on verified findingsâ.
HOGWASH!!!
The FIRST thing this commission should be doing is apologising to Nigerians for this embarrassment.
Ona no rate us at all o! đ«©
How does a straightforward exercise of registering voters and saving their records in a database result in duplicated records, suspicious AI-generated images and data inconsistencies that could distort our understanding of the demographics and distribution of registered voters?
What exactly went wrong? Was your system compromised? Were there failures in your data validation processes? How did these records get into the register in the first place?
And it isnât just about duplicated records!
How do you explain people being moved from their original polling units to different ones? What about the suspicious AI-generated images? What about the other issues people have raised?
Are we supposed to overlook all these things because you have called the register preliminary?
This is GROSS INCOMPETENCE, and you people are writing about it like itâs nothing!
God forbid I pay someone so well and they deliver this kind of shoddy job. đ
A whole electoral commission, with all the resources and personnel at its disposal, cannot produce a register that inspires confidence, and instead of taking responsibility, you are giving us explanations about ongoing data cleaning and investigations into possible lapses.
A WHOLE GOVERNMENT BODY!
This shows a serious failure of professionalism, quality control and accountability.
We are talking about the votersâ register that will be used for an election that determines the future of this country. These are NOT minor errors to be brushed aside or treated as if they donât matter.
The integrity of the votersâ register is fundamental to the credibility of the election.
And the fact that some people are treating this like itâs normal makes it even more infuriating.
INEC, we are not asking you for a favour. We are demanding competence, accountability and a credible electoral process.
First, acknowledge the embarrassment. Then explain what went wrong, show Nigerians what you are doing to fix it, and ensure the corrected register can be independently scrutinised.
SHAMEFUL NONSENSE! đ«©
INDEPENDENT NATIONAL ELECTORAL COMMISSION
PRESS STATEMENT
CLARIFICATION ON ALLEGED AI-GENERATED PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE PRELIMINARY REGISTER OF VOTERS
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has noted public concerns and reports circulating on social media regarding suspected AI-generated photographs appearing in the Preliminary Register of Voters recently published on its website.
The Commission wishes to clarify that the register published online on 26 October 2026 is the same preliminary register physically displayed at Registration Areas (RAs) nationwide from 9th to 15th October 2026 as part of the Display, Claims and Objections exercise.
During the physical display, a number of questionable registration records were identified and flagged for further examination. The Commission commenced the process of reviewing these records and taking appropriate corrective action in accordance with established procedures.
The online publication represents the original preliminary register and does not reflect all ongoing data-cleanup activities.
It is important to emphasize that the preliminary register is not the final certified register. The Display, Claims and Objections exercise is specifically intended to facilitate public scrutiny, identify inaccuracies and irregularities, and enable appropriate corrections before certification.
The Commission is also examining the circumstances surrounding the suspicious photographs, including possible technical or procedural lapses, and will take appropriate action based on verified findings.
The Commission appreciates the vigilance of citizens and stakeholders who have brought these concerns to public attention. Such scrutiny contributes to the process of improving the accuracy and integrity of the register.
INEC remains committed to completing the necessary verification, adjudication, and data-cleanup processes ahead of the scheduled certification of the final Register of Voters on 15th December 2026.
The Commission assures Nigerians that verified irregularities will be addressed through the applicable procedures and that further updates will be provided as the review progresses.

Promised a thread on Rogers some time ago, but didnt deliver it. What better time to do it than now tho, after he signed for our beautiful club. Lets get into it.
Morgan Rogers has flaws in his game. He definitely isnt a finished product yet. But what makes him special is the fact that in things he is good at, he is amazing at them. In addition to that, his surroundings made his flaws visible even more, and it was very easy to see why, especially if u watched full 90's of Aston Villa last few seasons.
In that Aston Villa team, he was practically the only real ball carrier. And players around him werent optimal to get the best out of him, not even close to optimal.
Emery likes intensity, team showing character, and having leaders on the pitch at all times. He likes it to a fault, because he would fit players in positions that arent ideal for them to have the best players on the pitch at all times.
When you have Mcginn/Buendia/Sancho as your wingers, its not easy to be a creator from midfield areas. These arent your "attack the space" wingers, but more the ones who move inside and occupy advanced midfield areas, while Digne/Maatsen/Cash overlap a lot. So thats the first thing that made Rogers life a bit more difficult than it shouldve been. But it doesnt stop there.
Guy in front of him was Watkins. Aldo Watkins is a great runner into space, he is also an enourmous BCM magnet. I cant count how many times have i seen Rogers putting a chance on a plate for him, just for Watkins to miss it like its nothing. Watkins also isnt great at dropping deep and linking up play, cos he is more of a poacher than a creator like Kane or JP ( now his new teammate ).
One more thing that didnt help him whatsoever was protection behind him. Emery had Tielemans playing almost every single game. Tielemans is great passer and has a top football IQ as a player, but what he is not, he isnt great transition defender. So, to maximise Rogers, Onana should be playing almost every game. He didnt ofcourse, because he is injury prone ( currently injured again ), so in comes Kamara. Kamara for me is one of the most underrated players in that Villa team. He is one of the cogs that got them that UCL position, and one of the key players in them winning European competition. But that balance in double pivot was far away from being perfect, especially when you expect your No.10 to do so many risky things when carrying the ball and dragging players with him, creating openings for other teammates around him.
He didnt have creators around him, or the ball carriers to help him get more isolations. This is why Aston Villa massively overperformed their xG, 2 seasons in a row aswell. At one point in the season, their xG was same as Wolverhampton's, and they were in relegation zone at that time. Doing all that carrying of a team who doesnt create enought is a big task for any player out there, so people have to be a bit more objective on impact Rogers had compared to what could've been if he had right profiles around him.
On that note, in comes Chelsea. At Chelsea, Rogers wont be the only ball carrier, and he definitely wont be the only creator. He will have people creating for him, and thats when his xG overperforming will come in handy, given he is a huge threat any time he finds himself around the box.
This is exactly what Chelsea was missing. We had Enzo as box crasher, and aldo he isnt as physical, Enzo was really good at it because of his elite level football IQ and reading the space in advance. Not many players have mental capacity to always stay concentrated and make a perfectly timed runs. Thats why it worked. But outside of that game reading, Enzo isnt a guy that will receive the ball, drive past 2-3 players with quick feet and then fire a bolt in opposite corner. That's Roger's bread & butter.

Let me tell you something, Nigerians.
We failed to sustain the pressure for @joashamupitanâs removal as @inecnigeria âs chairman after questions were raised about his alleged APC affiliation and the tweets he reportedly made with Dayo Israel.
We tweeted, shouted for a bit. And then, as usual, we moved on and accepted it.
APC people know we donât sustain pressure. They know we will make noise for a few days and eventually move on to the next issue.
They know we will shout about the votersâ register today and, in a few weeks, find something else to talk about.
They donât take us seriously because they know they can simply wait us out.
And this is a VERY dangerous trend if we genuinely want to change the course of the 2027 elections.
The truth is that the odds are already stacked against us, and we cannot afford to pretend otherwise.
They have the INEC chairman, whose impartiality many of us are questioning.
This APC government appointed the RECs and INEC personnel whose neutrality and deployment are still under question.
They have governors across the country, many of whom belong to the ruling party.
They have Wike, whose own public statements about election politics have raised serious concerns among Nigerians.
And we have legitimate concerns about the independence of institutions such as the judiciary and the neutrality of the security agencies during elections.
So, what do WE have?
Our hope.
Our audacity.
Our determination.
And our stubborn faith that change is possible.
I am not trying to paint a grim picture or discourage anyone. Quite the opposite!
I want us to understand what we are up against so that we can be more strategic, more calculating, louder and more decisive in our actions.
We cannot afford to be slack.
We cannot afford to raise an issue today, trend for two days and abandon it tomorrow.
Whatever legitimate concerns we have about the electoral process, we must pursue them to the very end. We must insist on answers, demand accountability and refuse to let important issues disappear from public conversation.
AND THE VOTERSâ REGISTER IS ONE OF THOSE ISSUES WE MUST NOT LET GO!
This register is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.
We need to know that it is accurate, transparent, accessible and compliant with the law. We must insist that INEC fulfils its legal obligations regarding its publication and availability.
If there are concerns about inflated figures, duplicate registrations or the disenfranchisement of eligible voters, those concerns must be investigated and addressed transparently.
We cannot afford to sleep on this matter. The integrity of the votersâ register is fundamental to the credibility of the election.
APC has had four years to build its political structures and sell its message. Na we just start serious campaigning now! đ
Even if they donât hold a single rally from now until the election, they already have the advantages of incumbency, established party structures and the visibility that comes with being in power.
We must therefore be creative, strategic and focused.
We cannot afford to approach the 2027 elections with the same nonchalance, inconsistency and lack of sustained pressure that have undermined previous efforts.
We cannot keep assuming that tweeting about a problem is the same as solving it.
We must be prepared to organise, monitor everything INEC does from now till results are announced, demand answers and sustain the pressure lawfully until we get results whenever necessary.
Because if we are serious about changing the outcome of the coming elections, we must also be serious about the work required to protect their credibility.
THIS TIME, WE CANNOT AFFORD TO SHOUT AND MOVE ON.
