This 2026 remake brings Hyrule into the modern era with absolutely gorgeous visuals, revamped controls, fully voiced characters, a beautiful orchestral soundtrack and improvements to dungeons and puzzles. But the key thing is that Nintendo hasn't messed around with what made the original so special. The exploration, memorable characters, fantastic dungeon design and that magical sense of adventure are all here. And judging by the reviews, I'm not alone. Critics are calling this the definitive way to experience Link's greatest adventure, helping to bring millions of brand new eyes to one of the most important games ever made. It's a stunning reminder of just how special this game was, and still is, nearly three decades later. Nintendo, you've absolutely smashed it. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time gets the easiest ever 10 out of 10 from me.
