Takeaways from Jets Week 7: Sean McDermott or Mike Tomlin gets this team in the playoffs. Geno Smith should be QB1 at the start of the 2027 season with a rookie QB sitting behind him preferably Drew Mestemaker. Braelon Allen is RB1 and needs a nice deal this offseason. Jeremiah Smith would be a luxury to draft at this point for the Jets to draft rather than a need. Garrett Wilson, Ad Mitchell and Omar Cooper Jr are all 1k type WRs. 2 of the Jets 1st round picks in 2027 need to be on defense. One of Dylan Stewart/Collin Simmons and Leonard Moore/Chris Cole.
