Lest we forget.
The image shows a black and white photo of the SS Caribou. To the right of the image, there is the following text: the anniversary of the sinking of the SS Caribou. On October 14, 1942, the SS Caribou was en route from North Sydney to Port aux Basques when it was torpedoed by a German U-boat. Of the 237 men, women and children who were on the vessel, 136 were unable to be rescued. Lest we forget.
