Oracle ( $ORCL ) and Cerebras Systems ( $CBRS ) announced a partnership to bring Cerebras’ high-speed AI inference technology to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure ( OCI ), targeting faster AI agents, advanced reasoning and enterprise applications. Availability is planned for 2027.
•AI infrastructure:
Oracle plans to integrate Cerebras Inference into OCI, expanding its compute offerings for AI developers, enterprises and research labs.
•Wafer-scale technology:
Cerebras’ Wafer-Scale Engine combines computing and memory on a single large processor, reducing data movement and communication delays to accelerate AI processing.
•Agentic AI:
Designed to speed up complex, multistep AI workflows involving reasoning, verification and automated actions, where repeated model calls can create significant delays.
•Performance advantage:
Cerebras aims to deliver ultrafast, predictable inference performance, enabling quicker token generation and more responsive AI applications.
•Cloud expansion:
The partnership adds Cerebras technology to Oracle’s existing AI infrastructure portfolio, including dedicated AI clusters, providing customers with additional hardware choices.
•Availability:
Cerebras Inference on OCI is planned for calendar year 2027. Financial terms and deployment capacity were not disclosed.
Oil is going to destroy this economy. The fixes have all been stop-gaps for the last 7 months. Reserves are being drained at an unprecedented level. All nations are struggling with this. I don't know how we can be bullish going into EOY given this nightmare scenario we're in atm.
This market doesn't live in reality anymore. The signs are all there for a depression, but degenerates have been fed this algo training mindset as if everything is worth buying a dip on. The market being only 3% off highs doesn't bode well when fundamentals start breaking fast.
