If you set Max Loss Per Trade in @NinjaTrader Web, don't mistake it for a stop order. It sends an alert when that trade hits your number. It does not close the position. That's different from an account Daily Loss Limit. On a rough day, that distinction matters.

Started Friday in a bad mood...wanted to be more patient with my entries. Had $753, $751.50 and $232.50 showing across three @TakeProfitLLC accounts at this point! The whole session wasn't perfect, but there was some nice green along the way 💰

Copy the trade, copy the risk. Twenty accounts magnify a bad day just as fast as a good one.

Hit your daily loss limit, switch accounts, try to make it back... Now the second account is paying for what happened on the first one 😂 I'd want my stop-for-the-day rule to follow ME across the accounts.

On @MyFundedFutures Studio #003, no consistency rule doesn't mean every dollar from a huge day counts. Sim Funded has a $2,500 DAILY net realized profit cap. Anything above it is forfeited...not saved for tomorrow's payout. I'd check that before trying to turn a big green day into an even bigger one.

Update: My 40% reset detail came from Lucid's published help article. @ajtradinglucid says getting 40% after paying the 50% reset price isn't intentional. If that happened, open a support ticket. The reset wording is no longer in the article. Appreciate AJ addressing it.

Say you've spent an hour planning a short, then price reclaims your level and holds. You don't owe that short a trade 😂 And dropping the short idea doesn't mean you have to buy. Can just be flat until there's another setup.

On @TradingLucid Flex, paying for 50% eval consistency doesn't mean you keep it after a reset. Resets go back to 40%. To get 50% again, Lucid says you need a new evaluation with the add-on. Worth knowing BEFORE you click reset...especially if you picked that option for a two-day pass.

“Just make $300 a day for 10 days.” Sounds like $3K...but add three $500 red days and you're at $1,500 before costs. Same ten green days. Half the money. I wanna see the losing days in the plan too, not just the number we're hoping to make.

Take half off at 1R, then stop the rest at your entry...you made 0.5R before costs. That's still green! But if your backtest assumes the whole position exits at 2R, those aren't the exits you're actually trading. Test the way you manage the trade too, not just where you get in.
