I have an idea for a new Lyrical ride line that I'm sure people would love. Here are the key points and ideas: - The flavor of the deck will be muscular idols. - The deck will revolve around checking the top X cards of the deck to gain advantage, and then shuffling the deck. The Vanguard, support cards and ride line cards will all have this mechanic. You will also gain gauge that will make your cards stronger. - You will have a token set order that allows you to have gauge, and also copy a card's top X check and shuffle effect, enabling you to have at least 2+ shuffles per turn. The order will be called the "Gym", and the gauge zone will be called the "Set" zone. - Every support card will check that your vanguard or ride line contains a specific G3 card, before enabling you to do a top X check and shuffle. This can also be paid with CB or EB or putting a card from hand into soul, lengthening the effect text. - Every card's top X check will be a different number. We will also make sure the card's name has a number as well, but the top X check will be a different number than the card name (eg. A card's name contains the number 6, but it checks top 7). - There will be effects that put cards from your drop into the Set zone. Your RG effects will proc based on the number of same copies in your Set zone, which will in turn generate specific token markers that can be put on your RG circles. - RG effects will also proc harder based on the number and types of specific token markers on the RG circle. There will also be effects that allow your to put cards from drop under RGs as gauge to help proc effects. This will ensure that players will need to constantly check and prove that they have the required cards at different places. The gauge cards under the RG circle will be named "Reps". - The deck will encourage you to build a specific amount of soul and burn through CB as fast as possible, but to perform your deck's gimmick you will always be able to CC the 1 CB required. This is to ensure that your damage zone is always face down, so when players want to check for things they have to turn things face up and remove cards from soul (and show Sets and Reps). - The art on cards will have a lot of bright colours, especially colours that don't work well with red text. - All cards will have a lot of red text, ensuring that higher rarity versions of cards are hard to read (because they don't have a text box). - Since this is a Lyrical deck, the highest rarity will be written in Lyrical language. - There will also be a Lyrical Tazer Lage that is locked to the deck, because Lyrical eventually gets everything. - RGs will be locked to specific circles so players know where to put their cards. To give players agency, every RG will be able to be placed on 2 different circles, and depending on the circle it will grant different red text effects. This is to ensure that players unfamiliar with the cards will have a higher chance to get confused. - All the cards will have their own typing (like Happy Toys), just so that there is an extra line at the bottom of the card that pushes the rest of the text box higher. - Multiple cards will gain and use different amounts of energy, forcing people with proper energy cards to pick up and put back cards many times a turn. - There will be several effects that put back specific types of cards back into the deck, but they will all be different (ie. 1 card puts back non-sentinel normal G3 units, and another puts back non-OT or heal G1 or lower cards). - After testing the deck, players will find that the deck is missing an important piece that pushes the deck to tier 0. This will be patched in the next wave of PRs. - Playing this specific ride line will allow you to play specific cards from other nations, because those nations don't have Gyms so they need to train on a flying whale. The cards haven't been decided yet, but you can find out what they are in the deck building guide on the website (or suggest cards below). Unfortunately, due to the fast changing nature of Gym memberships and New Years resolutions, these cards cannot be listed on the cards themselves. Ideally, through the card art and the amount of actions this deck will require you to do, you too can experience the sweat and tears that comes with being an idol (you will lose to time).

Good characters will get simped by either gender. However, most gacha games are very surface level so the only thing you can go by is looks and the random blurbs you get.

Big changes for Riftbound 2027 events. All of them look positive. Highlights include points leaderboard similar to what Pokemon has, an increase in venue size to accommodate more people, and a dramatic increase in Showdowns (30-40 each season)! Right now, the amount of events has been a problem in the Oceania region so if there is an increase for it, it will be huge. The venue size increase is also tackling one of the biggest issues plaguing the top TCG space where people aren't even able to sign up to events. Big Ws.
Time for a big article diving into the programs we're launching for Riftbound's 2027 Organized Play! In it: 1. Ranked Ladder and points 2. The 4 Continentals and dates 3. Riftbound Regionals for Q1 and Q2 of 2027 4. Event Tokens and more! Link below

They rebooted Vanguard the first time because it was too complicated and you had to carry more than just your main deck. Now take a look at our new Persona decks were all your rearguards need multiple tokens... – at Galston, New South Wales

Insane mechanics bloat. There's so many processes or texts in Vanguard that can be streamlined.
ヴァンガードのペルソナコラボを対面で教えてもらいました、あまりにも盤面の枠と処理が多すぎる。 これは公式大会の対面に持ってこられたら、普通に時間切れになって困るレベルなんですけど…

Yeah back in like 2014, we had WGP for Weiss Schwarz JP version. We had 2 undefeated players left, but they forced us to cut to top cut and also forced us to use a purely random method to determine which X-1s made it. Unfortunately, the names that didn't make it was me and Mark.

I think it's the same place as last time, but that place was great so good stuff.

Remember when Bushiroad manually paired their tournaments with a slip? Then determined top cut by pulling the losers out of a hat? I remember (I was 1 of the 2 that missed top cut).
Not only speaking for myself but even just for the people in cities outside of Manila, cancelling an event that can be ran on another pairing system two days before the event is diabolical. Players spend money for flights and accommodation to attend events that have been scheduled well in advance, and for it to cancel on the day that they are supposed to board a plane is a terrible way to go about handling your regional level tournament. Why is it that Grand Prix 2026 Autumn Chiba for Shadowverse: Evolve, a significantly bigger event, is still being held and a 70 player capped tournament can’t be handled the same way? xitter.cf/shadowverse_ev/status/… This is 2026 where there are ways to handle a pairing system then later report it to Bushiroad via Bushi Navi once it gets patched due to the PHP Cyber Vulnerability. Another pairing system, use AI to seed your event, and even in the worst case scenario, manually pair the event. How is it that a company like Bushiroad is incompetent of organizing a backup plan if in the event of a disaster to the pairing system, there is an alternate way to hold the tournament? The only thing affected here is the tournament pairing system and there are systems out there that do not run on PHP or on any infrastructure that isn’t affected by the vulnerability. Not to mention, people who have never been to the hosting store before, and with a big event where they are front facing as the organizer gets cancelled, that is reputation damage to the store. There absolutely should be some sort of compensation to the players for this event and whilst this is a global cyber issue, an adjustment in how the tournament pairing is conducted can solve this issue. If you as a company do not have backup plans, or have trust in your tournament organizers to fulfil the integrity of your event, why even bother playing Bushiroad games? A subpar BCS 26/27 announcement with less than the bare minimum of event details for players to make decisions, and a cancellation of an event two days before the appointed time which causes remote players to drop their arrangements from work and personal commitments, why even bother?

The problem is their last few games have been awful. It's scary that their last good game was probably Dragon Age: Inquisition back in 2014, but even that felt like an obvious step down from their last "great" game was Mass Effect 2 in 2010. Some of the greatest titles using their names (BG3 and KOTOR2) was done by Obsidian instead as well. I was kind of expecting them to disband after Anthem.

Damn, some of my favorite games was the Baldur's Gate series and Dragon Age (the first one). Huge loss.

Yeah, by default you assume they're hiring one unless they mention it in the job ad. Usually at the interview stage you can ask how many they're hiring.
