In 2023 @ZohranKMamdani spoke on a TRUST panel & said Transit was “a public good that for far too long has not been understood as such” & encouraged us to “ask for everything you want” when it came to funding. Congrats on your victory & always being a champion for transit justice

Transit workers deserve a fair deal that reflects the importance of their work and the risks they take every day. I stand with @TWULocal100 in their fight for a good contract. #MTA #TWULocal100 #NYC

Our @TWULocal100 bus and subway workers shouldn’t have to fight for a good contract. They put their lives on the line during COVID in support of other front line workers & first responders. It cost many of them their lives. Give them a fair contract @MTA - they deserve better!

It's official: I am no longer the most recent Guinness world record holder for the fastest time to visit every NYC subway station. Kate Jones officially set the first post–Second Avenue Subway time, completing her full circuit in an absurd 22:14:10. 1/12 xitter.gq/FugueKate/status/16583…
tl;dr: broke my ankle, broke a record! You’re looking at the current Guinness World Record holder for the fastest time to travel to all New York City Subway stations! 472 stations in 22h14m10s, and I’m the first woman to hold the record in it’s nearly 57 year history.

CPT mourns the loss of Jordan Neely.
Jordan Neely was a New Yorker. He was a person. When he began to suffer from mental illness the city’s social safety net failed him, as it had failed countless others. When he exhibited signs of his mental illness in public he was murdered on the F train.
