I held a constructive meeting with European Investment Bank (EIB) Director General Andrew McDowell to advance our partnership in delivering Kenya’s roads and transport infrastructure. We reviewed progress on the Kwa Jomvu–Mariakani road dualling, now 44% complete, and the proposed BRT Line 3, focusing on resolving implementation challenges and accelerating delivery. Through our partnership with the European Union and EIB, we are mobilising innovative financing and private sector investment to strengthen connectivity, ease urban mobility and position Kenya as a regional trade and logistics hub along the Northern Corridor. I appreciate the EIB’s continued support as we advance infrastructure that drives economic growth and creates opportunities for Kenyans.
