Not every thought deserves your trust. Measure every fear, desire, and assumption against God’s Word. As lies are replaced with truth, strongholds lose their power, and your mind is renewed.

A hostile culture is not an excuse for passive leadership. Joseph led in Egypt. Daniel in Babylon. Esther in Persia. The early church under Rome.
Culture may change the challenges, but it never changes the mission. Lead faithfully anyway.

The story moves from the whole world to one family through whom God promises to bless the world.
And that promise leads to Jesus.

Obedience isn't just about what you do, but when you do it. We can find respectable reasons to delay following Jesus, but delayed obedience is disobedience.
Don't put off until tomorrow what Jesus calls you to do today.

Jesus isn't impressed by those who acknowledge His authority but ignore His commands. You cannot claim to follow Jesus while refusing to obey Him. Genuine faith does more than listen. It obeys.
If you come to worship today, don't show up thinking God should be honored that you made time for Him. Come with the realization that we should be honored that He would meet with us!
Worship is a privilege, not a favor we do for God.
Don't be so consumed with where God might send you tomorrow that you neglect what He's commanded you to do today.
What are you waiting for?
We often delay following Jesus until life gets more comfortable or convenient. But Jesus never promised an easy path. He made it clear that He is worth it.

You don't have to be the missionary to help send the missionary. You don't have to plant the church to help fund the church plant.
You can't take your money to heaven, but you can use it to help people get there.
