Working myself into the ground right now with all types of content/analysis work, it’s a tough one to balance
I also feel like the industry can be a very lonely place, been doing this for years now and often feels like you don’t always get back what you put in
Made it a mission of mine to start my own podcast/s to connect with as many creators as possible, make it less lonely and have some fun while hopefully delivering plenty of value
The Chelsea Playbook & The Footy Playbook will both commence on my respective YouTube channels (CFC based and all round analysis based)

A huge thanks to those who’ve helped me and interacted with me throughout (you’ll know who you are I hope!) and please do stay in touch, as I’ll still be in the industry and keeping up with things!
Finally just a special mention for @EuroExpert_, who needs some sort of public acknowledgement for the ridiculously amazing and helpful guy he is, because it’s quite remarkable.
There are of course exceptions, whether it’s the very elite that handle and prosper under pressure, or those that are unable to revitalize there careers.
Either way, I think it’s an interesting topic and intrigued to here anyone’s thoughts and some more examples!
The higher the fee, the higher the pressure, and the higher the pressure, the more the ‘typical’ player struggles.
But if the narrative of the fee is removed, either by moving clubs again, being loaned out, or just over time as people forget and move on, the player can thrive.
Things like decision-making and back to goal play will only improve with more experience against defenders and increased physicality as he gets older.
Haven’t seen him play but keen to learn more so let me know what he’s like!
Just from numbers alone, seems to be a good dribbler, solid on the ground with room for improvement in air, but has strong passing numbers (especially long) throughout his career.
Will keep an eye out!
Also shows just how long I’ve loved him for, and how happy I’d be if he came to Tottenham, but I’m not going to get too attached yet as I’ll inevitably be disappointed.
Also sacking someone who knows the club, he knows the academy structure, he’s reliable. It just doesn’t make sense
Huge cost and risk ofc, but I really think he’s got the skillset for it.
Do have concerns over receiving back to goal, as he is best facing play, but he’s previously played in midfield, whilst even if it he’s not optimized there, you still have a potential WC, versatile CB.

Some more really good analysis on Dorgu here but in more detail. Covers all areas of his game really well and how he’d fit at United - highly recommend!
Patrick Dorgu • Tactical Report
➡ Loopy crosses, find the man but not threatening
➡ Strong aerially, wide target man from GK?
➡ Pass IQ is mixed but shows potential, has vision
➡ Great timing of runs from deep, splits defences

On the Leipzig links I think that’s a great move.
Provides the ideal environment and platform to develop away from the English media spotlight and with reasonable expectations to move on eventually.
Also really suits the Bundesliga style and Leipzig’s narrow system.
Really nice piece on him here if you’re interested!

Real Valladolid back in action tonight, where teenage CB Juma Bah 🇸🇱 will resume his part in trying to keep them in LaLiga.
In our latest post, @jamiemkemp takes a look at his first steps & why he's already pinging the radars of European giants. lapausa.digital/p/juma-bah-i…
I remember you trying to find some sort of metric to quantify Dibling’s value to Southampton @JakeEntwistle based on territory gained, and this could be something similar based of what that gaining of territory can create?
Perfect wide CB in a three as he’s playing currently, abit similar to Rudiger in a sense given his build and carrying - but perhaps less erratic and athletic.
Kept Gittens dead quiet tonight - definitely worth keeping an eye on!
This is his goal in midweek - see what I mean?
Beautiful.
