I lived the QB purgatory post Aiman. It is why I defended Romo & Dak for so long. The organization lucked into two franchise QB's. There is a total unkown of how things will be whenever the time comes for change at the QB position. I completely understand the fans fear of the organizations ability to find the next guy. Is that worth keeping the status quo? The owner & GM told us today it seems unlikely a coaching upgrade is on the horizon. Hard to find optimism as a Cowboys fan right now
It will cause fans to have aneurysm's but I do think its time, for both sides to understand it does him no favors or your team at this point. Will they? No, most likely not but I do think that time is here. Sucks but it is what it is. And Zach is not click-bait guy.
Zach Wolchuk says that it's time for the Cowboys to trade Dak Prescott. Not because he's a "bad quarterback", but because this CLEARLY isn't working. What do you think?

I have tweeted this several times over the last 3-4 weeks, You should not be surprised when your HC dirty macked his way into the job and then be shocked when we you/we get dirty macked by said HC.

Dallas gained 34 yards of offense on its final 27 plays from scrimmage. The Cardinals picked up 267 yards on its final 31 plays in that same time frame.
Pointed out during GB week when Book got that late hit after the whistle that it was like a frustration signal of "let us fight" last week you let them fight & go forward and bully/maul. Saw the spoils of it. Pass Blocking 54 times is setting them up for failure.

🚨🚨HEARTWARMING UPDATE🚨🚨
Former #NFL defensive end Devon Still broke down in tears after seeing his daughter Leah working her FIRST JOB at Chick-fil-A this week.
Leah was diagnosed with cancer as a young child and underwent chemotherapy. During her treatments, she rarely wanted to eat anything unless it was Chick-fil-A.
Now, 12 years later, Leah is cancer-free and has started her first job at the very restaurant that helped her get through those difficult days.
Devon shared that he pulled up to pick her up from work and saw her helping a customer. He immediately became emotional.
“Now I’m sitting in the car with tears pouring down my face.”
Still also revealed that doctors once told him how far Leah’s cancer had spread, and he began accepting the possibility that she might not survive.
“To go from that to this, I can’t explain what I’m feeling. Just know I’m grateful.”
Leah still orders the exact same Chick-fil-A meal she loved during chemotherapy.
THIS IS WHAT LIFE IS ALL ABOUT.

Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones on @1053thefan talking about potential trades: “Player acquisition (is something) we’re always taking a look at, which I think we’ve shown just as we brought (Joey) Porter in here (during) the season. We’re certainly not opposed to that. We’d certainly look at it if it made sense.”
“We feel like we got our hands around what value is in the market, and if the right situation is there and we feel good about what the player can do for us, then we’re certainly, as we’ve shown, not afraid to move on those instincts.”
Yes! Bring him in man. I think it would only be an additive to the FO, and I do think Troy could/would help imo.
A rather telling snippet from Troy Aikman's chat with our own @fishsports on the potential to come and help the #Cowboys.
"I would welcome any conversation with Jerry, and quite honestly I don't know if there ever would be an opportunity.
"But if Jerry came to me and felt in his heart that I could lend some services that would help make them better, I'd have a hard time not taking a good look at that."
The move, it seems, is there to be made.

#Giants LB Tremaine Edmunds will miss the rest of the 2026 NFL season with a shoulder injury, per @DDuggan21.
Signed this offseason to a 3-year, $36M contract, Edmunds started all six games and played every defensive snap. Another big loss for NYG.

This offseason Dave Caneles gave over playcalling to Brad Idzik…
Removed his ego because he actually wanted to coach the team. Not have his head buried in the call sheet.
Cowboys HC Brian Schottenheimer on @1053thefan on if he’s considered giving up play-calling duties:
“No, absolutely not.”
