Compute got a price on Monday. By Tuesday you could hedge it. that's the sequence worth noticing in a week with a lot going on. $SICI launched as a perpetuals market tracking NVIDIA GPU rental prices, with up to 10x leverage. One day later Injective Options went live on testnet so anyone can hedge that same cost. here's everything that moved last week: → $SICI is live. a diversified index of NVIDIA GPU rental prices, tradeable as perps with up to 10x leverage.
→ Injective Options is live on testnet. fully collateralized calls, with indices and commodities as the first markets. developers can launch white label options protocols and markets on top of it.
→ Hacker House applications are open. 20 teams will build RWA, privacy, and agentic apps in Bangkok from December 1 to 10, with AWS, Animoca Brands, SMBC Nikko, Bittensor, and Gulf Labs backing it. applications close November 10.
→ the Community BuyBack is complete with close to 7.3 million INJ burned to date. the first Stockdrop is live, so participants can claim tokenized stocks on Solana, from Nvidia to Tesla.
→ the Trench Treasury acquired 5% of the $RUNNER supply from @runupdotfun, the launchpad that has brought more than 30,000 unique users to Injective.
→ sLINJ is live on @ChoiceXchange, issued by @MidasRWA. leveraged INJ staking exposure in a single token with a target APY of around 12% on Injective EVM.
→ Pay Links from @TryNoxApp let anyone send any coin from any chain to your Injective wallet as INJ or USDC, with no onchain transfer linking you to the sender the numbers. → 2.3K code commits shipped to Injective in the last 30 days, ranking #3 among L1s.
→ 12.7M USDC has migrated to Injective, according to the Q3 recap from @cosmoshub.
→ $417M traded across Injective exchange dApps in 7 days, pushing cumulative volume to $84.6B The Hacker House is the item with a clock on it. 20 spots, Bangkok, December 1 to 10, and the deadline is November 10. if you are building anything in RWAs, privacy, or agents, apply this week. 🥷

The future of finance is not a battle between blockchains. It’s a battle between those working to democratize financial markets and those determined to preserve the closed systems of the past. Huge respect to @HyperliquidX and @tradexyz for their work with ICE, the parent company of the NYSE, to bring onchain markets to America. Having legendary investor Stanley Druckenmiller back this vision is another major signal of where global finance is headed. At Injective, we’ve spent years working toward this same future. From securing SEC transfer agent registration to working directly with the SEC, CFTC, White House and lawmakers in Washington, we’re helping establish the regulatory pathways needed to bring tokenization, derivatives and entirely new financial markets onchain in the United States. The next generation of finance should not be defined by the gatekeepers of the old system. It should be defined by open access, competition, transparency and the freedom to build financial products that were never possible before. This opportunity is far bigger than any single chain, app or company. Every meaningful step forward makes the entire industry stronger. Real onchain infrastructure and applications can all win together. You’re still beyond early.
trade[XYZ] and ICE, owner of the New York Stock Exchange, are joining forces to bring 24/7 perpetual futures on Hyperliquid to the United States. In just over a year, our markets on Hyperliquid have surpassed $650 billion in volume. They provide continuous price discovery for stocks, indices, and commodities, and have become trusted reference points for retail and institutions alike when traditional markets are closed. Much of the world trades them. Until now, Americans could only watch. We intend to change that. Subject to CFTC approval, trade[XYZ] and ICE plan to establish a new, dedicated U.S. market, with novel exchange and clearing infrastructure built on Hyperliquid. Planned contracts span equities, indices, commodities, FX, and crypto, with access through participating brokers and platforms. We’ll share more on products, eligibility, and timing as approvals progress. ICE brings more than 25 years of experience operating regulated markets, clearing, and managing risk. trade[XYZ] brings the product development, market design, and technology behind the most liquid and robust markets on Hyperliquid. Innovation and the protections of U.S. regulation shouldn’t be a trade-off. Together, we plan to prove it. ICE is making a strategic investment in trade[XYZ] and joins us in building towards the future of Hyperliquid. A small group of market luminaries is joining as well, beginning with Stan Druckenmiller. For more than four decades, few investors have anticipated the great turns in markets as often as Stan. We’re proud to have him with us for the next one. We’re building the U.S. market in parallel with our existing HIP-3 markets, which we’ll continue to expand and innovate on. We expect both to flourish. They each have a long road map ahead, from new asset classes to new ways to trade them. To the Hyperliquid community, whether you were here before us or came because of us, thank you. You took a chance on new markets and you made them matter. You’ll forever be a part of this story. Anything. Anytime. On ICE[XYZ].

A new era of options infrastructure is coming to Injective. Just one day after launching the Super Intelligence Compute Index ($SICI), Injective is officially unveiling Injective Options, introducing an entirely new financial primitive for developers, institutions and users. Now LIVE on testnet. The initial launch brings fully backed calls and puts across six distinct markets: → SICI: The first onchain AI compute index → US500: The top 500 US companies → US Tech: The top 100 US technology companies → Gold, Silver and Oil: Global commodities Every option is fully collateralized using native Injective USDC, as USDC becomes a canonical standard across more than 20 blockchains. But these initial markets only represent just a fraction of what’s possible on $INJ starting now Developers can leverage the new options infrastructure to build white label exchanges, launch their own derivatives protocols and introduce entirely new financial products without building the underlying infrastructure from scratch. Institutions can create customized derivatives and hedging products, while users gain access to new markets and the ability to trade or write options directly onchain. As more applications launch, they can generate entirely new revenue streams for builders while bringing additional trading activity, liquidity and fees to Injective and its broader ecosystem. Injective isn’t building just another options exchange. It’s introducing the composable infrastructure for an entire ecosystem of options protocols to thrive and interact with financial primitives across the onchain universe. And this is only the beginning.

The first buyer of the $INJ ETF is @Injective itself: up to $15M at $25 a share The latest filing brings some interesting changes 👇🏻 On October 23 Canary filed amendment No 4 for its staked INJ ETF with the SEC and filled in more details about the fund The fund will now list on Nasdaq under the ticker INJC instead of Cboe under $INJS The sponsor fee is set at 1.10% per year The Injective Foundation is named as the initial buyer and plans to buy up to $15M in shares at $25 each paying in INJ That’s up to 600000 shares before trading even starts At least 90% of the fund’s INJ will be staked Staking providers can take up to 30% of the rewards while the fund keeps the other 70% 👉🏼 BitGo Bank & Trust will hold the INJ while U.S. Bank will handle the cash audited financial statements are now included with Cohen & Company’s report dated October 21 The filing also includes the legal and tax opinions and the sponsor agreement that were still missing from the previous amendment The tax section now reflects the IRS staking guidance issued on October 6 The timing has changed too Earlier amendments came six to nine months apart This one arrived just 29 days after the last one Most of the missing pieces are now in place Annnnd Just one step left the SEC has to declare the registration effective 🫡
🚨 $15M gone from $INJ in 48 hours But the most interesting part came after the crash Four days ago I asked if too much leverage was building up on INJ The last two days gave us a pretty clear answer 👇🏻 Open interest was close to $80M on Tuesday Then INJ dropped around 10% in two days and OI fell to $70M before dropping further to $65M this morning That’s an 18% decline in open positions in just 48 hours Liquidations have also been slowing down They were around $702K in long liquidations earlier then total liquidations fell to $424K yesterday and $271K over the last 24 hours The selling pressure from liquidations seems to be easing What’s interesting is that funding stayed positive throughout the drop Longs were still paying to hold their positions even as the price kept falling So despite the flush funding never turned negative Now there’s another change worth watching OI bounced from $65.4M to $66.8M for the first time since the drop began while futures volume is still around $148M over 24 hours That doesn’t confirm a recovery yet but it does show traders are starting to add positions again The next move will tell us whether this is the start of a rebuild or just a short pause @injective

A college student caused a dorm-wide blackout mining Ethereum, then dropped out to build a blockchain backed by Mark Cuban. > Eric Chen was studying at NYU when he got into crypto. > He started mining Ethereum in his dorm room. > The mining consumed so much power that it caused a dorm-wide blackout. > Eric ended up facing NYU's disciplinary board. > But the incident didn't push him away from crypto. It pulled him deeper into blockchain research. > He also worked at a trading firm, studying financial markets. > He noticed a problem with decentralized exchanges. They were vulnerable to front-running, where traders could exploit pending transactions. > Eric wanted to fix that. > In 2018, he teamed up with Albert Chon to build Injective. > They wanted to make decentralized trading fairer and more efficient. > But building the technology proved harder than expected. > The team explored ways to solve front-running without making trading slower or more expensive. > Then they heard about Binance's first-ever incubation program. > They were traveling when they learned applications were open. > They canceled the rest of their trip and focused on getting accepted. > Binance Labs selected them, giving Injective an early breakthrough. > In 2021, they cold-emailed Mark Cuban, connecting Injective's vision to the GameStop trading controversy. > Cuban replied, and eventually joined Injective's $10 MILLION Series A round. > Injective grew into a blockchain built specifically for financial applications. A student who once caused a blackout mining Ethereum went on to build financial infrastructure backed by Mark Cuban. Imagine if he'd decided crypto wasn't worth the trouble.

Over 7.2 million $INJ has been burned to date 🔥 Every month, Injective revenue flows into the Community BuyBack. INJ is burned and users earn a share of revenue & onchain stocks. More usage → More revenue → More INJ burned → More rewards. This is the INJ Revenue Flywheel.
