The eight employers in the crosshairs of the White House anti-fraud task force have made at least 32,311 applications for H-1B visas in North Carolina over the past decade, including 14,522 for worksites in the Triangle
These employers are under investigation as @JDVance describes the H-1B/green card industry as "rife with fraud" as it replaces American workers with "indentured servants" brought from abroad
At the press conference, the task force announced the suspension of eight employers from PERM, including Cognizant and Infosys, the Indian tech corporations which rank No. 1 and No. 2 for most certified labor certification applications for H-1B visas in North Carolina over the past ten years
Department of Labor data analyzed for @TriangleTrumpet shows these eight employers made at least 4,816 H-1B applications for Cary, 4,544 for Raleigh, 2,232 for Morrisville, and 1,727 for Durham
